Making Safety Fun Prize Pack Sponsor Spotlight
One of the most important pieces of safety gear we have for our children is their car seat, but unfortunately most munchkins don’t appreciate the feeling of being strapped down by a 5 point harness. I know that I wouldn’t like the feeling of confinement and on top of that having an either hot/cold buckle digging into me with the chance of getting pinched while being buckled in. Of course there is nothing we can do about the confinement issue, but there is something we can do for the uncomfortable buckle issues and even make the car seat experience a little more fun too. I’d like to introduce my readers to a wonderful little product.
I’m always interested to hear about how a product came to be and maybe you can guess what sparked Tamara Pilosi-Keith to come up with the idea of the Baby Buckle Pad
. Maybe you even have found yourself in the same situation before. While buckling her squirmy baby into the car seat one day Tamara accidentally pinched her daughter’s legs with the buckle and she never forgot what an awful feeling that was to inflict pain on her child even if it was an accident. After searching for an after market pad to protect her daughter from having this happen again she soon found that there was no such product. Instead of just giving up her search Tamara decided to create the product herself so that parents everywhere could avoid that awful feeling.
Sugar really likes her Baby Buckle Pad
… though she doesn’t look thrilled for the picture it was only because I was strapping her in her car seat only to take the picture! I think when we move to the convertible car seat she will like it even more since she will have a better view of the entire product instead of leaning back. And that time is coming soon…. my baby has almost reached the weight and height limits for her infant seat 🙁
Not only is the Baby Buckle Pad
ridiculously cute – what baby/toddler wouldn’t love that cute fuzzy lion face looking up at them? – but it also has 5 awesome benefits!
- No more tears from accidental pinching of delicate little thighs.
- No more pressure from buckle – puts a stop to the “digging in” discomfort.
- No more hot/cold metal against delicate little thighs.
- No more unsightly pressure marks on skin from buckle.
- Discourages buckle release from curious little fingers.
And don’t let the name “Baby” Buckle Pad
fool you – this product will grow with your child. This product can be used in infant rear facing car seats, forward facing car seats, as well as booster seats. Not to mention strollers, high chairs, baby swings! Essentially anything that has a 3 to 5 point harness the Baby Buckle Pad
will fit on. I love products that grow with your child because that is one less thing that you need to repurchase. And another awesome feature of the Baby Buckle Pad
is that it is super easy to install and remove. So simple that even babysitters and grandparents won’t have a problem using the Baby Buckle Pad
! Check out this video to see exactly what I mean:
