Infantino Union Ergonomic Carrier Review & Giveaway

Dilly and Sugar both got to enjoy the benefits of mama being an Infantino Test & Tell Mom this time!  I was very excited when I received the Infantino Union Ergonomic Carrier to test out.  I wanna ask you guys something though…. if you are a baby/toddler wearing mama when people see you do they ever say things like “Gosh – kids have it so easy – I wish someone would carry me around!”  I hate these awkward mini conversations – I usually just smile, nod, and give them a little chuckle so they think they were funny.  Anyhow – just thought I would see how many of you get annoyed by those statements that I hear over and over and over again.  But back to what’s important – the Infantino Union Ergonomic Carrier!
When I first received this carrier the very first thing I noticed about it was that it is a very gender neutral carrier.  I really like the steely gray color with orange accents and Dustin didn’t complain at all about wearing it.  On one of the nice days we had recently Dustin and I took Dilly and Sugar for a walk…. well they didn’t walk – they rode, hehe.
Dustin tried Dilly out in the carrier first.
The Infantino Union Ergonomic Carrier is perfect for use with both Dilly and Sugar because it can hold little ones weighing from 8 to 40 pounds!  I’m not sure if Dilly will ever weigh 40 pounds, hehe.  The waist straps and shoulder straps are wide and padded which allows for comfort and lumbar support.  I never heard Dustin or I complain once about straps digging in or being uncomfortable.  In fact this carrier is ergonomically designed to evenly distribute babies weight for maximum comfort.  The straps are easy to reach for adjusting and the chest strap rests at a comfortable height when using the carrier backpack style.  Oh and I really like the little stetchy loops that allow you to roll up the excess strap and secure it.  I hate feeling like I have a million straps hanging everywhere.  All of these features allow for mom or dad to be comfortable – but what about the munchkins? Hehe.
Of course Infantino has taken care of them too!  The Infantinto Union Ergonomic Carrier has a bucket style seat which allows for a natural sitting position for your baby or child.  It also has padded back and head support for maximum comfort for your little one.  The carrier also hugs them close to your body so they feel safe and secure.  Dilly and Sugar both seemed very comfy and Dilly kept saying “I like this one mama!”
I decided to be ambitious and try to carry Dilly backpack style and to my amazement the back and shoulder straps truly were weight defying.  I carried Dilly with the same ease I carried Sugar!  There is about an 8-10 pounds weight difference between my girls and the height difference alone typically makes carrying them feel a ton different, but I had no problems with the Union carrier which I think is awesome!
If you want a baby carrier that will work virtually from birth (at least 8 pounds) through the toddler year, is comfy, and reasonably priced then I definitely recommend the Infantino Union Ergonomic Carrier!  Want to buy one?  It can be purchased on the Step 2 website for $39.99!  Check out this video if you have any questions about how to use the Union carrier.
You know you want an Infantino Union Ergonomic carrier now!
