Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a high quality solid orange crib blanket? Well it is very hard! After searching and searching I finally found exactly what I was looking for at Carousel Designs. Carousel Designs was founded over 23 years ago by two young military dads! Their company is known for providing beautifully designed crib bedding made of high quality fabric. All of the Carousel Designs products including baby bedding, mini crib bedding, cradle bedding, toddler, twin & full/queen bedding, crib sheets, coordinating nursery décor including curtains & valances, rocking chair & high chair pads, changing pad covers, rugs, musical mobiles, pillows, diaper stackers, lighting, wall art, cribs and other furniture are all made in the United States by skilled seamstresses in the companies design studio just outside of Atlanta, Georgia.
I absolutely love the crib blanket that Sugar received. It is solid orange on one side and the reverse is a cozy ChicMink plain white. It is super soft and light weight which makes it a perfect blanket for the warmer summer months. It measure 34″x43″ which is a perfect size blanket for Sugar. Until Sugar and Dilly reached about a year old they did not have a blanket in the crib with them – the only thing in their cribs were a fitted crib sheet. Since they didn’t have blankets for so long both of my girls typically just kick their blankets off, but Sugar loves this super soft crib blanket as you can see….
Another awesome feature of the Carousel Designs website is the Nursery Designer where you can completely design a crib bedding set down to the trim on the crib skirt. Plus there are more than 300 fabrics to choose from! I had a lot of fun playing around with it and pretended that I was planning for a little boy…. it might happen some day…. this is what I came up with for my boy crib bedding.
