About a month ago I posted about transforming mine and Dustin’s bedroom cave into a fun room for Dilly and Sugar to share. And when I say cave I am serious! Dustin and I chose a super dark color for our room upstairs and so this was an amazing transformation! Dilly chose orange for their new room, but we agreed on a light gray for the walls with pink and orange accents.
Through the past month I have blogged about specific items in their room including art prints from Elissa Hudson, Cloud B Twilight Ladybug, Lindsay’s Lights switch & outlet covers, Carousel Designs crib blanket, Shop With Compassion book sling, Boon Animal Bags, Gro-Egg, BreathableBaby crib bumpers, Sweet Bobbins sheets and crib skirt, and Sheet World sheets and crib skirt. All of these items combined together made for an amazing room transformation. Some other things we did included letting the girls make their own original wall art and I made the letter frames that hang on their wall. Dustin painted their ceiling fan to match the color scheme in their room. When it comes to the window treatments I alternated orange and pink around the room and I got the curtains for only $11 a set! I also chose blinds that are cordless because as you know I am a safety nut.
So throughout the past month I have only shown you bits and pieces of their room when writing about those specific products…. but now you get to see the finished product! Are you ready??
I absolutely love how the girls room turned out and they love it too! But trust me it doesn’t look like these pictures very often. Normally there are toys strewn all over the floor – ALL OVER THE FLOOR. So what do you think?? Did we do a good job? The next project is Dustin & I’s new room because it was Dilly’s old room which means it is pink.
Oh and one more thing! Elissa Hudson from Elissa Hudson Art Prints wanted to offer all my awesome readers a coupon code for her shop! Use code “HARPER10″ for 10% off your order!
I lied… one more thing – a lot of the above mentioned products still have giveaways going on, so be sure to check those out at as well and enter to win!

It looks great! My boys would love to have that much room to themselves!
Awesome job!! LOVE the pink and orange combo!
You did such a great job! The room looks awesome, what a difference! Do you have a 2 bedroom or do your girls just share a room? I’m trying to decide if I want my boys to share a room or have their own (getting a 3bd) and make the third room an office/toy room. Decisions decisions.
How awesome – you guys did a great job! I love the bright colors, so fun and I’m sure your girls love it too!
