Knit & Crochet Crazy Prize Pack
Over the past few days I have told you about all sorts of awesome handmade products for your little ones and for your home, but what about something fun for mama too? I was thrilled to receive a crochet newsboy hat just for me and all the way from Germany too. Well, the girls got some things too, but it’s a rare day that something arrives just for me so I was rather pumped about that, hehe.
Jen is an American living in Germany who loves to knit and crochet. She started out by making things for herself and her children, but she wanted to share her love for creating with the world and so she opened Fuzzy Sushi. Jen works primarily with European fibers and vintage embellishments. She loves to scour the flea markets all over Europe and recently discovered a ton of vintage buttons on a trip to Berlin and Paris. I like the thought that when you are wearing one of Jen’s creations you just might also be carrying a little piece of Paris with you – how romantic.
I received the Slouchy Women’s Newsboy Cap in the color sand. Jen hand crochets this hat with a soft, cotton blend yarn which is available in eight colors – salmon, lemon, sand, stone, sage, cornflower, mocha, and charcoal. I love that this hat can be worn in two different ways. You can slide the hat forward for a classic newsboy look or slouch it back for a more bohemian style. Jen is super talented and I absolutely love how this hat looks on – super cute. Dilly wanted to wear it too, hehe.
The girls also received two adorable headbands. Jen hand crochets both the headband and the flowers. The headband is super soft and also has some stretch to it. The headbands are available in size newborn through adult. As the circumference of the band gets larger Jen also increases the width. I love that the flowers are attached to alligator clips so that they can be removed and used alone in your hair or to accessorize a hat, coat, bag, or anything else you can think of! Dilly and Sugar get so many compliments when they wear their Fuzzy Sushi headbands out and about. I just love those big beautiful flowers on top of their heads!
If you would like to purchase a newsboy cap or headband head on over to the Fuzzy Sushi Etsy Shop where you can purchase them for $28 (cap) and $10 (headband). Plus Jen makes all sorts of other awesome things including…
