I am so excited to tell you all about Mama Hilton’s Handmade Fluff & Stuff.  Wanna know why?  Because I want to high school with Mama Hilton (also known as Jessica)!  I was so excited when I found out she was going to have a baby and that he was going to be a fluffy butt.  But I got even more excited when I found out she was sewing her own cloth diapers.  Then I got uber excited when she said she would sew some for me and now she has started her very own business so she can share her homemade goodies with all of you!

Since I am local to Jessica I went to our local fabric store and picked out my own prints.  Let me tell you that was exciting!  I was having such a hard time deciding I ended up picking four, hehe.  It was a really neat experience to drop off pieces of fabric and have them returned to me in diaper form.  And so here are the fabrics that I chose… and what they looked like when they were returned to me!

Jessica is very talented and makes all sorts of awesome things including one size covers (snaps), baby doll diapers (aplix), preemie – extra large covers, hemp and microfiber inserts, cloth wipes, wool dryer balls, and of course the one size pocket diapers (snaps/aplix) that I got to review!

The one size pocket diapers we received were made of the fabric pictured above, a PUL lining, and super soft bamboo velour on the inside.  Seriously they are so soft I want to rub them on my face when they come out of the dryer, hehe.  These diapers will fit from approximately 10 to 35 pounds.  My absolute favorite feature is the internal gussets.  I am positive that these would even hold in messy newborn breastfed baby poop with no problem.  Plus they are very easy to stuff because the opening is rather wide… even Dustin could do it, IF he stuffed diapers, hehe.

Jessica makes both microfiber and hemp inserts.  We received the hemp inserts to use in our diapers.  Since hemp is a slow absorber we also have to use a microfiber on top inside the pocket, but we have tons of those laying around so that was no big deal, hehe.  And I just love how Sugar looks rockin her Mama Hilton creations…
