Taking Baby Steps With Johnson’s For A More Natural Life Style

After Sugar was born I found the blogging world and I was slowly introduced to ways that I could take baby steps for our family to live a more natural life style.  In fact that is how we got started using cloth diapers!  I guess for some people switching from disposable diapers to cloth may feel like more of a leap than a baby step, but for us it was such an easy smooth transition.  But today I wanted to tell you about some great products that will help you live a more natural life style and it truly will only take a small baby step to make the transition.  Those products include Johnson’s Natural Baby Shampoo, Head-to-Toe Foaming Baby Wash, and Baby Lotion.

When Dilly was first born I immediately grabbed a bunch of Johnson’s products from the store shelves because they are the #1 choice of hospitals.  In fact that is what my girls were given their first baths with in the hospital.  The problem was both of my girls were born with sensitive skin and the original products really dried out their delicate baby skin and so I was forced to switch to other products that unfortunately were much more expensive.  And so this is why I was super excited to find that Johnson’s had added a natural product line and I was thrilled to try it out.  Here is some information on what you will find in these great products.

– 98% natural from plant and fruit-derived ingredients
– NO MORE TEARS® Formula
– ALLERFREE™ allergen-free fragrance, with a clean, natural scent
– Paraben-free, dye-free, and allergen-free
– No essential oils
– Dermatologist tested
– Designed to be gentle enough for newborns
– Up to 60% Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) packaging

johnsonsAnd I wanted to share a few of my thoughts after actually using the Johnson’s Natural products.  Unlike the original Johnson’s Baby Shampoo you will not notice lots of bubbles and suds but bubbles are not what cleans your baby.  It’s just a bit hard to get in that mind set when you have been used to tons of sudsy bubbles.  Other wise these products are great.  They got Sugar squeaky clean and the shampoo rinsed easily from her hair.  The lotion absorbed into her skin instead of feeling greasy… something that drives me crazy about most lotions.  And I just love that Johnson’s has come out with a natural product line that is affordable for parents.

While visiting the Johnson’s website I realized that the natural product line is also available for older kids so I definitely wanna pick some up for Dilly to try.  Make sure to check out the website too for even more product information, videos, and coupons – because I know every parents loves coupons!

So what are you doing to live a more natural life style?  Leave me a comment below and let me know.  And if you haven’t tried the new Johnson’s Natural product line out yet I highly suggest checking them out.  What a small baby step to do something great for your family!

I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Johnson’s Natural and received a product sample to facilitate my review, and a promotional item to thank me for participating.
