There are only three super simple rules that must be followed.
1.) Grab the button from my right side bar and place in your post.
2.) Copy & paste the questions you feel comfortable answering.
3.) Link up with your pregnancy journal entry for this week at the bottom of my post – if you link to your blog’s home page unfortunately I will delete it from the list.
23 WEEKS PREGNANT
This week Baby Girl is just over 11 inches long and weighs a little over a pound, about the size of a pomegranate. Blood vessels in her lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and the sounds that her increasingly keen ears pick up are preparing her for entry into the outside world. Loud noises that become familiar now — such as Dilly n Sugar screaming and bowling pins falling, hehe — probably won’t faze her when she hears them outside the womb. And this is what she looks like…
About me & Baby Girl this week….
Symptoms: Movement! It’s definitely not constant, but I can definitely feel Baby Girl moving about in there which makes me so happy since the ultrasound tech and doctor didn’t think I would feel her for a few more weeks. Still getting the headaches, but they haven’t been turning into migraines so that is awesome. I did have a few days with morning sickness but nothing major. All in all this past week has been rather good.
Weight Gain: -1 pound…. which puts me at 162 1/2 pounds total
Cravings: I didn’t have any distinct cravings this week…. but I am heating up the oven right now to bake some chocolate chip cookies. Break & Bake Baby! hehehe.
Food Aversions: Nothing really this week.
What made me cry this week: My eyes got all teary when I put the girls in bed at night and they say “I love you too”…. Sugar just recently started saying it and it is so stinkin cute.
Medical Stuff: The cough is barely there anymore…. a little bit here and there, but I’m not having to take medicine for it anymore.
Thoughts from Dilly & Sugar: Dilly is always running up and kissing my belly. No matter where we are…. we could be at the park, a restaurant, just sitting on the couch. She is truly excited about her baby sister coming.
Something I am excited about: I got the curtains back for Baby Girl’s nursery – they are absolutely adorable. The nursery is almost completely done and I love love love it.
