One of the easiest ways to spice up the walls in your home is with wall art decals. In fact we have some on the walls in our kitchen, bathroom, and the girls bedroom. I think what I love the most about wall decals is that if you change your mind about how you want the room decorated they can be easily removed without destroying the walls which makes them perfect for apartment living or those renting homes…… and for those of us who just like to change things up too often for them to be permanent, hehe. Since I love wall decals so much I am always excited to find new places to shop for them and especially unique decals I have never seen before. And that is why I want to share Urban Walls with you!
Urban Walls is owned by Danielle Hardy who lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. And just by her name you know she is awesome – come on, all Danielle’s are awesome, hehe. Danielle is a wife and mommy to two very active and adorable little boys plus she is a graphic designer, etsy seller, and aspiring blogger. I have spent a bit too much time browsing around all her wall decal designs and I could totally fill up my house with her amazing designs. The way she tosses color in the designs is just gorgeous.
And so I have to share some of my ideas. Since Baby Girl’s bedroom is almost complete it will finally be time to start on Dustin and I’s bedroom which I want to have a really calm and nature type feel to it. How perfect would these trees be behind our bed or poking up behind our dresser?
And ok I know that I said Baby Girl’s bedroom was almost complete, but how darling would this look on the wall in her nursery??
Alright well it’s no secret that I am pregnant and indecisive so I think I may have changed my mind already about what I want to do in our bedroom, hehe. I love the look of this small flower pattern that mimics the appearance of wall paper…. except that it is easy to remove if you ever change your mind unlike wallpaper! This would look absolutely stunning.
By now I think you get the point – Urban Walls has some absolutely amazing designs to choose from and they are all very reasonably priced as well. And just a few tips so you get the most out of your wall art decals. They are easy to apply, last for many years, and are easily removed, but you can not re-use them – so make sure you know exactly where you want it before applying! Also the wall decals adhere best to matte, egg shell, satin, or semi-gloss paint. Danielle does not recommend installing on a surface that is textured, concrete, stucco, or a drywall/primer finish. She does however provide samples if you want to try something out before committing to an entire decal.
So I know you are itching to get your hands on some Urban Walls decals! Head on over and go shopping. Oh and guess what? You can enter to win some here – just enter using the Rafflecopter form below.
