Well I’m a still a bit in shock that my girls are now four and two years old.  Time truly goes too fast and I have been trying to make every moment count.  And so when I found out that Dustin would have a Friday off from work (he typically only has Sunday off) – the entire Friday – I knew we had to do something fun with the girls and so we headed to the Cleveland Zoo!  As we were pulling out my sister pulled in the driveway and so she joined us. 

Dilly has a slight obsession with flamingos.  They are her favorite animal at the zoo and unfortunately they are also one of the smelliest. Hehe.

The Cleveland Zoo has an amazing new elephant exhibit which opened last year.  We all loved them, but Sugar… I think they were too big for her.  Check out how big… Dilly is standing in an elephants foot print in one of these pics. 

Sugar did however love the meerkats.  She and Dilly kept saying they were Timon since The Lion King is one of their new favorite movies.

Giraffes have to be my favorite animal by far!

Plus there were monkeys, tigers, bears, and lots lots more.

And on the way home they crashed!

It was a great way to spend a family day together and continue with the birthday celebrating.  And tomorrow is the big party!!
