Welcome to the “My Pregnancy Journal” meme, so if you are a pregger blogging mama then you will definitely wanna link up.
There are only three super simple rules that must be followed.
1.) Grab the button from my right side bar and place in your post.
2.) Copy & paste the questions you feel comfortable answering.
3.) Link up with your pregnancy journal entry for this week at the bottom of my post – if you link to your blog’s home page unfortunately I will delete it from the list.
28 WEEKS PREGNANT
This week Willow weighs about 2 1/4 pounds and is roughly 14.8” long – ![]()
approximately the size of an eggplant. She can blink her eyes, which now sport lashes. With her eyesight developing, she may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. She’s also developing billions of neurons in her brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world. And this is what she looks like this week…
About me & Willow Jean this week….
Symptoms: Well Willow has decided that she loves my ribs… she gets all snuggled up in there and then decides it is time to jab me or stretch out. In other news – please remember I am sharing all my symptoms – my boobs are enormous…. and not only that but my nipples are HUGE.
Weight Gain:+3 pounds, putting me at 169 pounds total…. I started at 161, so a total of 8 pounds up.
Cravings: Any time I smell a fire and smoke I immediately want a smore…. this has been going on for weeks actually and I finally was able to get my smore on Memorial Day! And it was delicious….
Food Aversions: Nothing really…. I still am avoiding Taco Bell which will probably last for a long time. Once something makes me sick I am pretty much over it for years. And ya know, that’s probably not such a bad thing.
What made me cry this week: I don’t think I cried…… which is awesome.
Medical Stuff: I went to my 28 week appointment yesterday and got some great news! Have you read my birth plan? Well I went over it with my OB and she was on board with everything as long as Willow and I are healthy and no one is in danger which is awesome! Since there are two OB’s in the practice and whoever is on call will be delivering I also have to run a few of the things by the other doctor, but my next appointment is scheduled with him and she is almost positive it won’t be a problem. I was super stoked to hear I wouldn’t be required to have an IV and instead can go with the saline lock.
Thoughts from Alleigh & Kaelyn: Well Kaelyn constantly has to SEE the baby which means she needs to pull my shirt up no matter where we are….
this includes in line at Wal-Mart, hehe. Oh and this thought was not from my kids, but from my father! I was showing my mom how my belly button had popped already and he said my belly looks like a one eyed monster…. of course I believe that was in the most loving way possible, hehe.
Something I am excited about: That my doctor is on board with me wanting to have a natural childbirth and has agreed to my birth plan!!
