It is quite obvious that I am quite pregnant, hehe. And one of the things I find myself looking forward to each day is putting my darling kiddos to sleep at bed time and indulging in a nice hot shower to soothe my aching back and joints – kinda sounds like I’m an old person and not pregnant. Haha! Since I enjoy these showers so much I was thrilled to give a new showerhead a try and when the Danze package arrived I was so excited.
Not only was I super excited to receive this new shower head, but so was Dustin. So much that by the time I had run a quick errand and arrived back home he had already taken it out of the box and installed it! I picked up the empty box, looked at him, said something along the lines of how I wanted to take pictures of him installing this showerhead…. to which he replied, “Seriously? It was so easy you woulda just had a picture of me screwing it on to the fitting – anyone could do it.” And so that tells you how super simple it really is to install. I glanced over the directions and of course there were a few more steps then my dear husband mentioned, but they are very simple and even the least home improvement savvy person would be able to complete it with no problem whatsoever.
We received the 4” 503E Three Function Showerhead in chrome (also available in brushed nickel) to try out. This showerhead has some great features including D-Force technology, brass ball joint with polymer shell, 
optimal water intensity even with low water pressures, maximum flow rate of 2.0 gpm (gallons per minute) at 20-80 psi (pounds per square inch), 56 easy clean jets, and uses 20% less water than a standard showerhead which is awesome for families trying to live a greener lifestyle. The three functions of this showerhead include wide, center jet, and aeration (pictured below) which are easily changed with the easy glide selector ring which is on the outside edge of the showerhead.
Both Dustin and I prefer the wide spray and so that is what our showerhead is typically left on. I kinda wish there was a function that allowed all the jets to spray at once, but that would probably really decrease the pressure which wouldn’t be a good thing. I love how sleek and shiny this showerhead looks as well as the great pressure while saving water compared to standard showerheads! I like the multiple sprays. I just need to convince hubby that we can live without our water saving shower head.
Our shower head hasn’t been replace in probably 15 years. Yuck! I want a new one so bad!! <3 that it's shiny and new!
I like the pressure control.
I like the optimal water intensity even with low water pressures. The shower head we have is probably as old as the house. About 25 yrs old.

We have the generic shower head that came with the rest of the shower handles etc when we redid our bathroom. My husband complains all the time about it because he loves the shower heads that you can adjust the flows to get a water massage from so this would be right up his ally plus I know from before that this will be very handy as I get farther along in this pregnancy.
I need a new showerhead because when we purchased this house it was a foreclosure and the previous owners had actually taken it.

We need a new one cuz our current one is just wore out! I love that it has adjustable settings! Our previous one also had various settings, but it just didn’t hold up very well.
