Welcome to the “My Pregnancy Journal” meme, so if you are a pregger blogging mama then you will definitely wanna link up.
There are only three super simple rules that must be followed.
1.) Grab the button from my right side bar and place in your post.
2.) Copy & paste the questions you feel comfortable answering.
3.) Link up with your pregnancy journal entry for this week at the bottom of my post – if you link to your blog’s home page unfortunately I will delete it from the list.
31 WEEKS PREGNANT
This week Willow Jean measures over 16 inches long and weighs about 3.3
pounds – roughly the size of 4 navel oranges – and she is heading into a growth spurt. She can turn her head from side to side, and her arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath her skin. She’s moving a lot, too, so you may have trouble sleeping because of all the kicks and somersaults. And this is what she looks like this week…
About me & Willow Jean this week….
Symptoms: The heart burn has definitely decided it likes me a bit too much, but the good news is the baking soda remedy worked! And so I just eat whatever I want because I know if I mix 8 ounces of water with 1 teaspoon of baking soda and drink it down I will be good to go, hehe. Oh I have started having trouble with the whole breathing thing since baby girl seems to be pushing my lungs up out of my chest. I was trying to blow bubbles with the girls the other day…. it literally took my breath away!
Weight Gain: +1/2 pound, putting me at 169 pounds total…. I started at 161, so a total of 8 pounds up.
Cravings: I am back to wanting ice all the time and I found out that the Dairy Queen near us also has the same ice as Sonic, plus it’s so much closer. So yesterday I stop by a different Dairy Queen and get myself a drink and hubby a Blizzard because I am nice like that…. I get home and take the lid off my cup and realize it is NOT the right ice. I about flipped out. And so yesterday evening Dustin went to the right Dairy Queen just to get me a cup of ice. That’s one of the first times he has actually responded to a craving and I was SO happy.
Food Aversions: Not really having any aversions…. just the fact that I can’t eat very much at a time since Willow is starting to take up all that space.
What made me cry this week: Ya know what….. I don’t think I cried!
Medical Stuff: No doctor appointments this week and no falls either – thank goodness! My next appointment is this coming week though.
Thoughts from Alleigh & Kaelyn: Alleigh loves to sit with me and just hold her hands on my belly to wait for Willow to move. She knows that if she jiggles my belly around a bit that it will usually cause Willow to nudge her back. Today she was doing this and my belly button was moving up and down and we both just cracked up laughing.
Something I am excited about: Well we are now in the single digits… I am excited and nervous since I want to do a natural childbirth this time. I know I can do it…. it’s just the anticipation that is getting to me!

you are so darn cute pregnant!!!
Wow, you’re looking great! I have only gained 9 lbs as well. I went to my local WIC clinic and they said I need to gain more, but my doctor says I’m fine. So, IDK. We’re getting close, best of luck!
