3.)  Link up with your pregnancy journal entry for this week at the bottom of my post – if you link to your blog’s home page unfortunately I will delete it from the list.

32 WEEKS PREGNANT

And now Willow Jean weighs about 3.75 pounds and is about 16.7 inches squashlong, about the size of a squash… taking up a LOT of spaceIMG_2231 in my uterus. She’ll be gaining a third to half of her birth weight during the next 7 weeks as she fattens up for survival outside the womb. She now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). Her skin is becoming soft and smooth as she plumps up in preparation for birth.  And this is what she looks like this week….

About me & Willow Jean this week….

Symptoms:  Lots of back pain.  And every time I sneeze, cough, laugh… I literally pee my pants.  And wanna know the solution for that?  Poise panty liners.  Yup, you will find them near the adult diapers, but they look just like a regular panty liner and you won’t have to worry about leaks or needing to change your underwear.  Dead serious.  And I’m not that hungry anymore – most likely because there’s not much room in my stomach because little miss is taking up all the room and shoving all my other organs outta the way.

Weight Gain: – 1/2 pound, putting me at 168 1/2 pounds total…. I started at 161, so a total of 7 1/2 pounds up.

Cravings:  This week I NEEDED a big cheeseburger and so I sent one of my pregger friends a text message and was so excited when she said she could meet me at Red Robin.  I devoured a huge bacon cheeseburger and two servings of their bottomless fries…. oh and a chocolate milkshake, hehe.  Plus I am back to loving fruit.  Especially watermelon. Yummy!

Food Aversions:  I’m still afraid to eat Taco Bell…. I attempted it like a week ago, but it made me so nauseated I had to take one of my morning sickness pills and I really think that is the only reason I didn’t puke it all up like last time.  Yuck.

What made me cry this week:  The stupid woman in charge of billing at my doctor’s office.  I go in for my 32 week tummy check and the lady at the front desk tells me I have a balance on my account.  And I am like “what for??” So she calls billing and the lady tells me that my last appointment was billed as medical instead of pregnancy related.  I got all frustrated and start going off about how I can’t even mention a cough without being charged medical and I am sick and tired of being charged for my appointments when I am here because I am pregnant.  And of course that led to me bawling and being all upset…. the billing person was no help at all – she just kept saying “Your last appointment was billed as medical and there is nothing I can do to change it.” And so I finally told her that I am very pregnant, not in the mood to deal with her, and hung up the phone.  The very sweet woman behind the front desk felt so bad that she came out and gave me a hug and some tissues.  And I will tell ya that I really really needed that hug at that moment.  I go back for my appointment and my blood pressure was sky high.  I had to explain to the nurse what happened and how I just got all upset so that they wouldn’t want to send me over to the hospital to get monitored.  And then the nurse went through my records with me.  Turns out that the appointment that I was billed for was medical when I was really sick months ago, but the billing lady kept saying “my last appointment”… if she woulda got the date right and the reason I came to the office right we could have avoided that whole melt down.  Urghhhh so frustrating!!

Medical Stuff:  Well aside from that whole episode at the doctors office I was able to talk to the other OB on staff at my office and he also ok’d me to stay at home as long as I can when I go in labor and that I can have the hep/saline lock instead of the IV so that made me super happy.

Thoughts from Alleigh & Kaelyn:  Kaelyn always needs to pull my shirt up to “SEE WILLOW JEAN!!!”  And Alleigh likes to inform me when I am doing things I shouldn’t be… like picking up Kaelyn.

Something I am excited about: Another 3D ultrasound!  I just found out today that I will be receiving a 3D ultrasound in exchange for featuring the facility on my blog and I am super excited.  We go on Monday evening so be ready for more pictures of Willow Jean!

  3. Tamara says:

I would have had a melt down too. Billing people make me so mad. :/

Red Robin sounds sooooo good. I’ve been wanting it for a few days now. I could never eat that much if I wanted to though. I can only make it through like 1/2 a burger and I’m done. Pregnancy makes me want to eat everything and my stomach shrink to the size of a pea. It’s so frustrating, lol!
