Almost every time someone asks what we’re having and I tell them another girl I get the most ridiculous comments. That boys are so much easier. That they feel bad for my husband because he won’t have a son. Blah Blah Blah. Well ya know what…. neither of us cares what gender child we have…. but I am so thankful for all my girls. Not to mention that girls can do anything boys can do and then they can put on a dress and paint their nails too. I suppose boys can do that too….. though I wouldn’t really recommend it too much, hehe. Anyhow, the reason this is all coming out is because we attended a local demolition derby this past weekend and my girls LOVED it. Just like they love monster trucks, playing in the dirt, and watching sports.
As you can tell the whole family had a blast! Have you ever been to a demolition derby? I swear they are as hillbilly as you can possibly get, but oh so much fun at the same time. You should definitely check one out!

I’ve never taken the kids to one, but did go as a kid and I loved it! I’ll have to see if any are in our area, I know my kids would love it!!
I’ve got 3 boys and a girl… My girl likes things the boys do, and girly things too. I’ve told you this before, they’re different, I wouldn’t say one is better or easier than the other. To each his own I guess!

Also…about the no-boys thing…in a lot of ways I am a little scared to have our first boy, whenever (if) that happens. I am awful comfortable with just girls so far. I have no idea what the heck I’m going to do with a boy when/if he comes along… O_o
