When Kaelyn was born she loved to be swaddled, but I always felt like she was going to over heat in the swaddling options that were made of thick fabric and had velcro all over them like baby straight jackets. I knew there had to be a better option and there definitely is.
With the arrival of baby Willow Jean right around the corner we finally get to try out the aden+anais muslin swaddling blankets. Before I even pulled them out of the package I knew they would be incredibly soft from our experience with aden+anais crib sheets and dream blankets. Both of which Alleigh and Kaelyn absolutely adore.
For Willow I chose the “for the birds” classic muslin collection of swaddling blankets which are even more gorgeous in person.
When I first opened the package I was greeted with that exceptional softness that one can only find in 100% natural cotton muslin. The blankie that has the large amounts of pink and gray dye was a tad bit stiffer then the rest… and when I say a tad I mean still as soft as a cloud, hehe. However, after washing one time they were all super soft and with continued washing will only get softer. Plus I will never have to worry about Willow overheating in her aden+anais swaddles – the lightweight muslin allows air to circulate around babies body while still providing comfort and warmth. My plan for night time and nap time is a onesie and muslin swaddle once Willow arrives. Plus during the colder months aden+anais offers the Cozy Muslin Collection which is double the thickness of the classic collection.
Not to mention these muslin swaddles are very generously sized at 47” by 47”
which means not only can you swaddle a very large baby, but they are also useful for many other things. Just a few examples include stroller/infant seat cover, burp cloth, nursing cover, tummy time blankie, changing table cover, portable crib sheet, and most likely your little one will decide that their super soft swaddles will become their lovies as well! Since Willow obviously isn’t here yet to model how awesome the aden+anais swaddles are I decided to check on their Facebook fan page where I found many fans sharing pictures of their adorable babies all snug in their swaddles and gosh so darn cute too. If the looks on these peaceful babies faces don’t tell you how truly awesome aden+anais swaddles are… well then nothing will prove it to you!
Be sure to check out the aden+anais website because they have so many different gorgeous styles of swaddles – plus organic and bamboo collections as well. I will definitely be packing my aden+anais swaddles in the hospital bag…. I totally remember the stiff blankets from the hospital that my girls would bust out of in a matter of seconds. And guess what? You have the chance to win one here!

I haven’t tried their products before, but they look adorable and made from high-quality materials. Thank you for the giveaway!
I love A&A products. We have swaddles and sleep sacks. I love that they get better over time and that the swaddles are versatile. I love them as nursing covers when out and about. We have the bamboo Mela swaddles and the monkey sleep sack.
Tried them, have them, give them as gifts, could not live with out them….
Love the new Jeweled ones or liam the brave
My little ones love these blankets! They are big enough to snuggle up in and yet cool enough in the summer! They are perfect!
Never tried, but I like the dragonfly patterned organic one!
I love A+A products! Our lil one isn’t here just yet, but we have a sleeping bag and a recently found the new crib sheets and we had to have one! The muslin is soooo soft and I love that it’s breathable. I really like the Princess Posie prints!
I love looking at them. The designs are SO cute!! I think the breatheability of them is what interests me most. I’d love to have either the “For the Birds” or the “Princess Posie” collection.
I’ve not tried them but I do love the “for the birds”
“classic muslin collection”
I saw these once at the store, but didn’t buy them. Now I can’t find them locally and am kicking myself!
I love their big size and how with each wash they get softer! Plus the designs are great!
i love how soft they are!! as well as how strong!
I have not tried anything from A+A. I would love to win the organic star struck swaddle
I would pick baby cakes swaddle print collection. I have tried A+A swaddling blankets and LOVE them. Problem is, I have very boyish ones and would love cute girly ones for my daughter! They make awesome nursing coverups, and are great for shielding sun off of the little ones while in a sling, carrier, or stroller.
These are practically the only thing on my list of things to get before my baby girl is born (I have a son already so am full up on other baby stuff).. She’s my first summer baby so I’m planning to pick some up to keep her swaddled but not sweaty!
I’ve never tried but I’ve seen them in a local baby store. I love how soft they are! I’d love to try the ‘jeweled’ classic muslin collection.
I always buy them as baby shower gifts and have used them for my niece and nephew! I would get the Super Star Scout blankets!
Yes! We LOVE Aden and Anais! My almost 2 year old still walks around with one all.the.time! I would choose the dino-roar swaddle.
I’ve never tried them before but they are beautiful, I like the dreamer, so simple!
We had these with our son and loved them. They are such a perfect length and stay swaddled fairly well! I like the radiant red print!

I have never tried A&A but with a new little one due in January I would love to. They have so many cute prints but I love the jungle jam swaddle.
I have not tried them, and my “babies” are too big now. But all my friends and relatives are still adding to their families and these swaddlers look to be the exact size that I WISH I had for my kids!
I’ve never tried Aden & Anais but would love to! I would love the Girls & Swirls design…I’m having a baby girl at the end of the month!
I’d love the Brilliant Blue swaddle! I do have a dream blanket, and can’t wait to try it out once our little one arrives next month!
I have tried the dribble bibs… I love how big and soft they are. I would love to try the swaddle blankets any pattern in organic!!
I was given some A&A swaddle blankets as a gift when my daughter was born and thought, “Oh great, more blankets,” but came to find out how wonderful they are! My daughter was born last May and these lightweight blankets were perfect for summer. I love how big they are but can still be shoved into an overstuffed diaper bag. If I won I would pick the Radiant Red swaddle blanket.
