I really am having a hard time believing that this pregnancy is so close to being over… it’s really bitter sweet. But before little Willow arrives I have one more awesome company to tell you about that makes absolutely adorable shirts for your [bump] and beyond. I received two of these shirts to try out and just love them!
[bump] babies started out the day Renae Plant found out she was pregnant. She struggled in those first months with the feelings of “do I look pregnant or like I lost my gym membership” and so she decided to do something about it. And since there were no hip maternity clothes that catered to that awkward pregnant or fat time she decided to proudly show the whole world her [bump] by wearing it on her expanding belly. Renae’s [bump] designs are fun, sexy, stylish, comfortable and I was excited to show my [bump] off too!
There are so many different options to choose from – tees, tanks, v-neck, and more – that I hard time choosing… but I finally made my decision. One of the shirts I received was the “I (heart) my [bump]” light blue tee with blue denim print and a ruby Swarovski crystal heart. I really like that this shirt can be worn two different ways – either as a scoop neck or off the shoulders. The neck and sleeves are finished with an interlock stitch while the side vents and bottom are hemmed. Not to mention it is super soft being made of 100% extra soft combed cotton. Plus it just looks adorable on…. now a warning… these shirts are like a giant billboard on your belly. If you don’t want people oohing and awwing over your growing tummy then this is not the shirt for you. But since I like to show off my [bump] it was totally up my alley!
The other shirt I received was the beach [bump] tank in a gorgeous lemon color with aqua wording. I just love wearing yellow with a nice tan in the summer so this tank seemed made for me. It is made of 100% extra soft ring spun combed cotton and also has 3 inch side vents. We took the girls to Cedar Point this past weekend and stayed over night at the Hotel Breakers which has beach access to Lake Erie. Let’s just say this was the perfect shirt to lounge around on the beach in and I got tons of compliments on it as well!
Now as far as sizing goes… I feel that the [bump] shirts tend to run a little small. They are available in two sizes S/M which fits a pre-pregnancy US size 0 through 6 and L/XL which fits a pre-pregnancy US size 8 through 16. I currently weigh about 170 pounds and pre-pregnancy I would wear shirt sizes 8-10 and so now at 37 weeks you can see my tummy is starting to peek out in some of the photos. It doesn’t bother me, but if you prefer to remain covered keep that in mind.
Be sure to head on over to the [bump] website and check out all the adorable options they have available – there are even daddy shirts, though I knew I would never get one on Dustin, hehe. Oh and two more things that I really like about [bump] – they have awesome customer service AND they are made in the U.S.A.! And guess what? You have a chance to win a [bump] shirt here!
