We absolutely love to grill out.  If the weather is nice – no matter what season – you will find Dustin firing up the grill.  Now even though we grill out all the time we are pretty set in our ways of the foods we grill and so when presented with a new option by Ore-Ida we decided to give it a try.

That new product is the Ore-Ida Grillers which are available in Golden Thick Cut Potatoes and Seasoned Thick Cut Potatoes, so we tried both!  Their super easy to make.  In a nut shell you leave them in the freezer until the grill is ready.  Then lay them directly on the grating of a gas grill on medium heat and close the lid.  In roughly thirteen to fifteen minutes with flipping once or twice their finished!  So easy…. though since Dustin is more of a charcoal griller we had a few casualties, but they still turned out really good.

We grilled out at my parents house and everyone had positive things to say about the Ore-Ida Grillers.  That included Dustin, myself, the girls, my parents, and a family friend – so they were definitely a big hit.  Everyone chowed down!  The Golden Thick Cut Potatoes were awesome dipped in ketchup and the Seasoned Thick Cut Potatoes were perfect just the way they came off the grill.  Oh and if you don’t have a gas grill these can also be baked in the oven which I would like to try next time.
