Mamas & Papas Toys Review & Giveaway

Already having two little girls in our house we seriously have an overload of toys.  So much that I could probably donate 50% of them (if not more) without Alleigh and Kaelyn even realizing it.  But even though that’s the case Willow still needed her own toys that had never been played with by her sisters and when I saw the selection at Mamas & Papas I knew she just had to have some.  So when these items arrived at our house I was beyond excited to check them out!

Before I talk about them in depth though I wanna give ya a lil background information about Mamas & Papas:

Mamas & Papas is a brand built on a passion for style, quality and innovation. The business was founded in 1981 by one of the UK’s first female entrepreneurs, Luisa Scacchetti, who has redefined the modern approach to parenting, whilst also inspiring a new generation of mothers to realize their own ideas and bring them to market.

Luisa’s original vision is one that still underpins our business today – “Every product and collection in our range must not only look good, but also add simplicity and assurance to a parent’s daily routine. We are about sophisticated, yet simple, solutions, with unprecedented attention to detail in everything we do”.

We are hugely excited about the future of Mamas & Papas – a female design dynasty that remains committed to delivering the highest levels of quality, innovation and passion for parenting. We hope you’ll enjoy exploring our world.

And now on to the toys!  I love the Mamas & Papas Tummy Time toy.  It is definitely a bit different than any other tummy time toy I have ever seen before and it has fun activities no matter where baby explores.

I truly couldn’t believe how many different activities were all over this toy.  There is a musical lullaby to help stimulate baby senses but also helps to soothe and relax baby.  Plus there are rattles, crinkly material, teethers and textured fabric.  Not to mention the baby safe mirror that helps to promote self awareness and recognition.  Plus the shape of this round cushion helps to encourage baby to lift their head, strengthen their neck, upper arm and chest muscles which in turn helps to develop gross and fine motor skills through using larger muscles and precise movement.  And it’s fun at the same time… check out some of the features!

Oh and Willow also received two cuddly little guys to play with… one of which is the Farmhouse Malvin Mouse who is part of a family of adorable characters IMG_2800that live on the farm together and have their own unique personality. Each character has their own removable name tag that includes a nursery rhyme tailored to them.  For example Malvin’s rhyme “Malvin Mouse runs so fast.  Quiet and nimble he’s unsurpassed.  Don’t make a squeak or make a sound.  Malvin Mouse will never be found!”  Since he has no small parts Malvin is perfect for little ones to play with or would look adorable propped on a nursery room shelf.

Willow also received the adorable Bits & Bots Marvin which Kaelyn has fondly named “Boop Bop,” hehe.  I absolutely love the applique detail on this lil guy and his quirky eyes.  Plus little ones loves opening and closing things so the front flap on Marvin is perfect!  And he also has a rattle inside that makes a nice jingling sound instead of an annoying crazy rattling…. most mom’s will know what I’m talking about, hehe.

I must say I am very impressed with the quality of the Mamas & Papas toys we received for Willow and would love to purchase some more for her to enjoy.  There are tons more that I would love to get for her as you will see if you browse their website.  Oh and guess what?  You can enter below for a chance to win some Mamas & Papas too – fill out the Rafflecopter form.
