There are only three super simple rules that must be followed.
1.) Grab the button from my right side bar and place in your post.
2.) Copy & paste the questions you feel comfortable answering.
3.) Link up with your pregnancy journal entry for this week at the bottom of my post – if you link to your blog’s home page unfortunately I will delete it from the list.
33 WEEKS PREGNANT
This week Willow weighs a little over 4 pounds – roughly the size of a pineapple – and has passed the 17-inch mark. She’s rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look and her skeleton is hardening. The bones in her skull aren’t fused together, which allows them to move and slightly overlap, thus making it easier for her to fit through the birth canal. These bones don’t entirely fuse until early adulthood, so they can grow as her brain and other tissue expands during infancy and childhood. And this is what she looks like this week…
About me & Willow Jean this week….
Symptoms: Soooo tired…. the last stretch fatigue has definitely set in. I also cleaned my house top to bottom today since we had the family over for the 4th of July and totally over did it. My sciatic nerve is acting up really bad and I actually had a few braxton hicks contractions – so I tried to take it easy this evening. I get heartburn quite frequently, but I’ve been sticking to my baking soda & water remedy which works wonders! Oh and I have to pee like every hour to hour and a half all night loooong. Plus the leg cramps down in my calves – those hurt something awful.
Weight Gain: +1 1/2 pound, putting me at 170 pounds total…. I started at 161, so a total of 9 pounds up.
Cravings: Didn’t really crave much this week….. I did get my Sonic Ice though.
Food Aversions: Lemonade. This is a love hate relationship right now. It always sounds good to me and I really want to drink it, but within minutes I have severe heartburn which is making me avoid it.
What made me cry this week: Well it didn’t make me cry, but it definitely frustrated me that I dropped my cell phone and completely shattered the screen…… urgh.
Medical Stuff: We went for the 3D ultrasound…. and my baby girl is already head down, so those have been her feet kicking me so lovingly in the ribs, hehe. According to the ultrasound she also has LOTS of hair and she is in fact a SHE. I had to make sure! I will have pictures very soon to share.
Thoughts from Alleigh & Kaelyn: At the 3D ultrasound Alleigh wanted to stand beside me and hold my hand. It was the sweetest thing ever. She was pointing out Willow’s hands, feet, eyes, nose…. she is so excited to meet her new little sister.
Something I am excited about: Well since Willow had her face pushed up against the uterine wall and her umbilical cord was across her nose the majority of the ultrasound they asked if we would like to come back. So this coming Tuesday I get to see her sweet face again!
