Tiny Love Gymini Move & Play Activity Mat Review & Giveaway

willow1

Today I woke up and realized I am 34 weeks pregnant….. 34 WEEKS!  That means according to when Alleigh and Kaelyn made their arrival into the world that Willow could be here in about 4 weeks.  It just amazes me how fast this pregnancy has flown by and how soon it will be over.  Plus it reminded me I have a ton of awesome products to tell you about and to giveaway too!

One of the baby products that I used all the time with Alleigh and Kaelyn was an activity gym, but I will be honest with ya – the one I had for them drove me nuts.  For the longest time they couldn’t even reach the toys and so I would tiny lovehave to rig up a bunch of rings to even get the toys within their grasp and that was just simply annoying.  When I saw the Gymini Tiny Princess Move & Play by Tiny Love I knew I found the answer to all the annoyances from our previous product.  And honestly it shouldn’t surprise me that Tiny Love was the company to come up with this awesomeness because they were the original inventors of the Gymini Activity Mat which they launched in 1993!  Plus Tiny Love strives to consistently improve its position in the market by being the first developmental toy provider to identify the latest discoveries in child development and translate them into engaging, interactive toys that nurture skills and delight the senses.  And I can tell you they have done just that with their release of the Gymini Move & Play.

We received the Gymini Tiny Princess Move & Play to try out which is perfect since I have a house full of little princesses…. not sure what I would ever do if a little prince would show up, hehe.  And so this is what the product looked like when we first received the package and took it out of the box.

Getting everything set up and ready to go was extremely simple.  The arches simply snapped into the little pockets on the four corners of the mat and the toys attached to the sliding hanging ring connectors – so easy!

And now for all the features that I L.O.V.E. about this activity gym.

- The arch connector is not only a fun electronic light and music toy with 7IMG_2368 different melodies, but it can MOVE!  That’s right – this is the first activity gym to feature a sliding arch connector that brings the toys within babies grasp which means I won’t be linking up a gazillion rings so that Willow can reach her toys.  All I have to do is push in the green button and it IMG_2361slides with ease.  YAY!

- The sliding hanging ring connectors so that I can slide them to whatever position will allow Willow to fully enjoy them.  If she is wanting to bat them around  I can move them up a bit and if I can tell  she actually wants to hold on to them and chew away I can slide them down within her reach.  I love this feature!IMG_2369

- The mat is very generously sized at 45 inches by 41.7 inches and has a crinkly snail shell and butterfly wings… as a mom of soon to be three one thing I know is that babies absolutely adore that crinkly sound.  Plus the mat can be used by itself as baby grows and can sit up to play.  Oh and it is machine washable – yippee!!

IMG_2362IMG_2363- I also love that when you snap together the buttons on the outside corners a raised border is created which creates a cozy feeling for your little one and I think it will help my older kiddos to be more aware of where their little sister is playing.  Plus when she starts rolling around I won’t have to worry about her rolling out of her play area.  IMG_2364

Since Willow isn’t here yet to model how truly awesome this product is be sure to check out this video to see all of the features that I mentioned in action and to see why I absolutely love it!
