A Rockin New Wardrobe from Barbie!

Alleigh is only four years old, but I swear she is four going on fourteen when it comes to clothing.  Anytime I pick something out for her to wear it immediately becomes the most hideous outfit she has ever seen and I have an all out temper tantrum on my hands.  I’m talking throwing clothes then laying on the floor screaming and crying.  This could be an outfit that she picked out for herself a week ago and absolutely loved – but if I pick it out…. the world has come to an end.  And so I was very excited to learn about the new Barbie clothing line for toddlers.  Many of the tops and bottoms in this line can be mixed and matched to create different looks and since it is very obvious which pieces go together (compared to Alleigh’s other outfits) she can pick these out by herself.

I have never seen two little girls so excited as when this sparkly pink box arrived full of Barbie clothing that was just their size and a digital camera to document the fun.  We received two different outfits, but the fun part is they can be mixed and matched to create totally different looks.

Alleigh claimed the “Sparkle Makes Me Happy” top and skirt and I must say this outfit fits her personality perfectly.  I really like the two-in-one t-shirt and shrug look because it transforms an other wise simple shirt and makes it into something fabulous.  But as much as I like the top the skirt is absolutely ideal for Alleigh.  Underneath this adorable sparkly skirt are shorts!  And so Alleigh will be able to rock this outfit at Pre-Kindergarten without showing her undies off on the playground or while sitting cross legged at circle time, hehe.

Kaelyn looked absolutely adorable wearing the “Future Glamour Girl” tutu dress and leggings.  When I put this outfit on her I couldn’t help but imagine a little workout outfit from the 80s and so I HAD to put her hair in a side ponytail, hehe.  She loved shaking her little booty in this dress because of all the ruffles and had me cracking up!  She definitely rocked this outfit.

When I was a kiddo I was absolutely obsessed with Barbie dolls – in fact I had about 50 of them, the huge house, convertible, and more.  So watching my girls rock these outfits was like reliving my childhood.  I only wish I would have had such awesome outfits when I was a lil kid!

Check out what the girls had to say about their outfits…

And if the little girls in your life are causing drama when it comes to picking out outfits each morning consider checking out the new Barbie Clothing Line for toddlers.  As you can see my girls both loved the outfits and I’m sure yours would as well!  Plus what will make mom happy is these outfits are available at K-Mart and very reasonably priced ranging from $7.99 to $16.99 – ya definitely can’t beat that!

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Barbie Clothing. I received a sample package to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item as a thank-you for participating.
