Even before Alleigh was born over four years ago I knew I had to have a Boppy. And I must say that over the years we have gotten so much use out of that awesome pillow and have used it for so much more than just nursing. However, the one thing that always drove me nuts was that it was just a bit too big to drag around with us when we would leave the house. Turns out I wasn’t the only momma to see this dilemma and after listening to the requests of it’s consumers Boppy released the new Travel Pillow!
And so when I was packing my bags to take to the hospital for Willow’s arrival I made sure to include my Boppy Travel Pillow – I was so excited to be able to conveniently take my Boppy along with us to the hospital without feeling like I was dragging the entire house along with us. As you can see (on the far left) it is smaller than both of the bags I had packed to take with us.
So besides loving the portability of the Boppy Travel Pillow here are some more features that are just awesome:
- It zips open and closed super easy, so even when holding a little one you 
won’t have a problem getting the Boppy Travel Pillow open.
- The adjustable shoulder strap makes carrying it around super easy by just tossing it over your shoulder like a diaper bag. You can use the stroller straps if you are on an outing that includes using your stroller.
- It is machine washable! This is a huge plus since everyone knows all the messes that come out of little ones, hehe.
- And of course I love that it makes nursing Willow away from home as easy as it is at home. It’s also a nice little place to set her beside me while eating a meal or attending to Alleigh and Kaelyn. (Oh and just a lil side note… The picture above where she is sleeping in the pillow I was right beside her eating lunch – you should never use the pillow for sleeping purposes and should always be near baby at all times.)
With a house full of girls I of course went for the pink Boppy Travel Pillow, but it is also available in green. This made nursing at the hospital a breeze and I am looking forward to taking it with us on all our outings – though right now I am still taking it easy at home for the most part.
