Boppy Garden Patch Play Gym Review & Giveaway

I absolutely love my Boppy pillow.  It’s one of those pieces of baby gear that once you have it you won’t be able to live without it.  But did you know that Boppy makes more than the Boppy pillow?  They also have play mats and gyms.  Since our rather small home is over run by Alleigh and Kaelyn’s toys Willow needed a place all her own to lounge around while playing and the Garden Patch Play Gym fits that need perfectly.

Willow is only one month old so she is still rather tiny, but as she grows I will be very thankful for the generously sized mat which measure 41” by 40”.  Plus there are loops that the toys can be attached to on the mat itself so when baby girl outgrows the toy arch we can still use the mat as a play area – I love products that can grow with baby!

Speaking of the toy arch… I was very impressed with this reversible open IMG_3945arch design and the ease of setting it up.  There are stretchy loops that simply fit around the squishy balls and ta-da you are done!  I really like that the arch doesn’t obstruct momma’s view from being able to see her little one plus it makes it much easier to lay Willow under the arch as well as pick her up when she has had enough compared to a typical play gym that connects on the four corners of the mat.  Not only are there openings on the arch fromIMG_3973 which to hang toys, but the SlideLine toy adjustment system is awesome!  This allows mom (or dad) to move the orange sliding openings along the arch so that they can be placed perfectly for babies enjoyment.  At the moment Willow is enjoying just looking at the toys and so I can place them a perfect distance away for her to focus on them, but when she starts reaching and grabbing I can move them so they are right within her grasp.

The Garden Patch Play Gym comes with a matching mini Boppy pillow with three toy loops which allows baby to lounge in comfort while playing instead of being flat on their back.  Plus it is also great for tummy time…. though Willow is not too fond of that idea yet.  She doesn’t fuss, but gives me a look that seems to say “so not cool mom, so not cool,” hehe.

And I can’t leave out the 7 luxe toys!  A set of crinkly leaves, bright orange carrots with rattle inside, super soft snail with rattle, springy pea pod, crinkly head of lettuce with mirror, musical bee with light up wings, and crinkly book with contrasting images of bee, peas, and snail.  All of the different textures, bright colors, and sounds are sure to grab Willow’s attention as she grows.  Plus I love that they can be easily attached to the openings on the arch, the SlideLine system, mini Boppy loops, or loops on the play mat.  So many different choices to make play time different every day!

IMG_3971I absolutely adore everything about the Garden Patch Play Gym from the unique arch design with built in SlideLine system to the adorable super soft toys and large mat.  And ya can’t forget the included mini Boppy pillow!  Plus I love that this play mat works for a boy or girl so you will be able to use if for future children as well regardless of their gender.  Be sure to head over to the Boppy website to check out all of their awesome products including more play gyms and mats.  And guess what?  One lucky winner here at Happenings of the Harper Household will win their very own Garden Patch Play Gym!  To enter fill out the Rafflecopter form below.  Good luck.
