Now that Willow has been here a few weeks and we are getting into the swing of having three little ones it’s time to finish up the “Waiting On Willow” reviews and giveaways.
Did you know that I am a Contours Mom? That means I get to bring my
readers reviews and giveaways of lots of awesome Contours products. Not too long ago I told you all about the Contours Optima Tandem Stroller – my favorite double stroller by far! And today I get to share my thoughts on the Contours Classique 3-in-1 Bassinet. I love products that serve more than one purpose so this bassinet fit my needs perfectly.
When I was about thirty-seven weeks pregnant I got the itch to put Willow’s bassinet together. And so with my big huge belly I got all the pieces out and began assembling. It took me a little over an hour to completely assemble, but had I not been massively pregnant I’m sure I could have been a bit quicker, hehe.

I absolutely love the dark wood side panels of the Contours Classique 3-in-1 Bassinet because it gives off a bit of warmth that makes it feel more like a high quality piece of furniture than an item that shouts BABY.
But what I like even more than the wood side panels is that this bassinet serves more than one purpose. Not only is it a bassinet, but also a changing table, and removable Moses basket.
The changing table easily stores underneath the bassinet/Moses basket on some small ledges. When it’s time to change your little one’s bottom you simply pull it out and it clips to the top rails. The changing table can be used for babies up to twenty-five pounds which means this piece of baby
gear can be used even after baby is too big for the bassinet. Alleigh and Kaelyn didn’t hit 25 pounds til almost their second birthday so we would be able to use the changing table for a long time!

The inside of the bassinet is made of quilted and padded fabric plus the vinyl covered mattress comes with a washable fitted sheet. I like that the bassinet is generously sized because even with Willow weighing 8 pounds 9 ounces at birth she still has plenty of room to grow and stretch out. It is recommended to be used until 3 months of age or up to a weight of fifteen pounds. Check out how peaceful she is…
The Moses basket has to be my favorite feature. I love how easy it is to move about the house with the sturdy handles. Plus I can even take Willow outside when Alleigh and Kaelyn want to play without disturbing her. Definitely makes life easier! Not to mention the mesh side windows that provide increased air flow.![]()
There are quite a few other features that I really like about the Contours Classique 3-in-1 Bassinet as well. The easy roll casters make the entire unit easy to move around our home and I like that they can be locked so that Alleigh and Kaelyn can’t decide to move their sister whenever they feel like it, hehe. I also love all the storage space. The big basket underneath the bassinet is perfect for blankets and toys. Plus the hanging storage organizer which snaps onto the wood panel is perfect for storing diapers, lotion, pacifiers… anything you would need to have for your little one within an arm’s reach.
This is by far one of the best bassinet’s I have ever seen. It is especially perfect for those instances where you have limited space. Since we live in a small bungalow and already have two other children items that save space are awesome. Knowing that I have a bassinet, changing table, and Moses basket all in one great unit is perfect. It would also be an ideal piece of baby gear for apartment living too. The one and only complaint I have is that the color is described as pink on the Contours website, but it looks more purple to me. I would have preferred pink, but it obviously doesn’t take away from all the great features and the function of the bassinet is much more important to me than the color. So just a heads up if you are expecting pink.
So now that I have told you all of the awesome features of the Contours Classique 3-in-1 Bassinet I’m sure you want one too, right? Be sure to visit the Contours website where you can find where to purchase one either locally or online where they retail for $199.99. Oh and there is also a gender neutral option in case the purple color isn’t quite your thing. And guess what? One lucky Happenings of the Harper Household reader is going to win their choice of Contours Classique 3-in-1 Bassinet! To enter simply fill out the Rafflecopter form below – good luck!!
