When Kaelyn was a little baby she loved her swing to the point that I should have purchased stock in batteries.  We went through batteries so fast and if we ever ran out it was like the world had ended – seriously, that is just how much she loved her swing.  So when we found out we were expecting baby Harper #3 I knew I didn’t want the battery dilemma.

I was thrilled to find the InGenuity Cozy Coo Sway Seat in Java Jungle Fashion – perfect gender neutral colors – which is quite a bit different than a traditional baby swing. Instead of a swinging motion the Cozy Coo Sway Seat moves in a soothing gentle side to side motion just like the way mother’s naturally sway to calm their baby and Willow definitely seems to love it.  Plus there are tons of other great features that definitely make this seat stand apart from other options on the market.

I only want the plushest comfiest seats for my little ones bottom to rest in – after all my baby deserves the best, doesn’t yours?  And I am pleased to say that InGenuity definitely came through for me.  This cozy cradling seat is made from deluxe super soft fabrics plus it comes with a removable infant bolster which ensures even the smallest baby is positioned properly.  On almost every baby product I have seen with a five point harness the buckle is left exposed and that hard plastic just can’t be comfortable pressing against baby.  InGenuity even thought of that!  The buckle is covered by the same soft fabric and has an adorable lion embroidered on it plus Velcro to ensure it stays in place.  I also love that it keeps the buckle out of view of my two and four year old who are little mommies and like to “help” a bit too much.

Earlier I mentioned my dilemma with batteries – not only are they expensive, but they typically die really fast.  But I no longer have to worry about keeping batteries on hand because the Cozy Coo Sway Seat can be operated two ways:  plug-in or batteries.  For me I don’t ever see us using batteries unless we would take it outside, but otherwise if I am near an electrical outlet I will definitely be plugging it in.  Plus with InGenuity’s patented Hybridrive baby IMG_4131can enjoy a WhisperQuiet  ride and momma a quiet house.  Unless of course your little one prefers to listen to one of the 8 calming melodies or 3 nature sounds.  Willow prefers the nature sound that sounds a bit like running water.  There are three different volume levels and Willow likes it on the loudest setting most likely because it sounds a lot like the Dyson – baby girl loves when I vacuum, IMG_4129hehe!  The on/off switch, different sounds, volume, three swaying speeds, swing timer (30, 45, 60 minutes) and soothing vibrations can all be controlled with the buttons at the base of the mobile arm.  And we can’t forget the mobile!  Willow enjoys watching the adorable lion and giraffe move about as she sways back and forth.  All of these are great features and even though Willow isn’t fond of the vibration it definitely would have come in handy with Kaelyn – she loved that sensation.

You can also choose from three adjustable positions with the Comfort Recline.  Since Willow is one month old we are currently have the seat reclined as far as it can be, but as she grows and is able to support her head we can adjust the seat to a more upright position so she can see everything around her.

And I absolutely love the compact design of the Cozy Coo Sway Seat.  In fact it takes up 30% less space than a traditional baby swing!  We live in a small bungalow and space is definitely limited.  The fact that this easily fits in a small corner of our living room makes this momma super happy – see it?

So if it isn’t obvious by now the InGenuity Cozy Coo Sway Seat is definitely Mama Harper approved and Willow too.  She is definitely a fan of the sway.

I’m sure your little one would love it too!  Check out this short 10 second video to get a better idea of how the Cozy Coo Sway Seat moves….  while Willow is soothed to her “Dyson sound,”, hehe.

I last used one of these (but not as good as model) with our first child 7 years ago. Since dr. said and thought I couldn’t have any more kids we gave pretty much everything away except for crib. We just found out that God has truly blessed us with another child. I am 9 weeks pregnant, baby due in May. I would love to use this with our baby. I love the idea that it plugs in and the change in design since I had one is amazing. Thx.
