It’s Saturday and that means it’s time for the weekly Willow update! I enjoyed writing my pregnancy journal and sharing my journey with everyone so much that I have decided to continue by writing about Willow’s first year. And so each week I will be sharing how my baby girl is growing and changing plus lots of pictures!
PICTURES FROM WILLOW’S 4th WEEK
WHAT WILLOW’S DAYS & NIGHTS ARE LIKE…
Sleeping: Baby girl is having lots more awake and alert times throughout the day now, but is still probably sleeping roughly fifteen to twenty hours a day. She absolutely must be swaddled in her aden+anais muslin blankets to sleep and still enjoys sleeping in her Fisher-Price Rock n Play Sleeper. At night she has been wanting to nurse a lot more and so we have been utilizing the side lying position so momma can get some sleep too.
Eating: The past few days Willow has been on a bit of a nursing spree and it seems that’s all we have been doing lately. I feel so blessed that she took to nursing so well and we haven’t had any problems at all. I am especially happy that she hasn’t spit up at all. Alleigh would nurse til she was so full 
that she would spit up all over me and let’s just say that wasn’t fun… but if I stopped her from nursing she would cry hysterically. It was a no win situation.
Diapers: We are 100% in cloth diapers now, but still experimenting with what works best. I have been using the newborn covers with prefolds that my friend made for us, Grovia shells with prefolds, Fuzzibunz x-small pocket diapers, and a few different AIO’s. Even though the Grovia shells look absolutely massive on her they work awesome for over night.
Places She Went: This week Willow went to chur
ch for the first time and also to her first sit down restaurant – Steak n Shake. She pretty much slept through both places though. Oh and she also went shopping with momma at a few kids consignment sales to stock up on fall/winter clothing for all the girls. We got some really good deals and some really cute clothes!
Other Random Stuff: Bath time is not fun right now as you could probably tell from the pictures above. Hopefully she starts to enjoy them soon…. for my sanity and hers, hehe.

I love the flower thing that she is sitting in in the sink for the bath looks very comfy
What a cutie! I remember all of my babies went through bath-hating phases in their first year, all at different times. Hopefully this is Willow’s phase, and then she’ll have it over and done with! lol
Aww she’s so sweet, she looks so tiny. I love her diaper too.
She’s so adorable. That hair is awesome! I love that flower she’s sitting in! SO cute!
She is still so absolutely adorable! Not that I was expecting her to change or anything! LOL!
She is so cute and growing bigger every day. I love that you will be sharing with us every week. I was just telling my husband that I don’t remember what things were like in the beginning. It would have been really cool to be able to look back to my blog to remember
