Ever wonder what blogs a blogger reads?  Well you are in luck because I am going to share with you my blog reading list that starts my day off right while sipping on my morning latte.  My list is quite diverse and you might find it interesting that none of them are review/giveaway blogs.  But these are the blogs that I check every single day… and quite honestly my day just wouldn’t seem complete without reading the words of these amazing women.

Blogs I Love a-Latte:

The Bloggess:  The Bloggess is written by Jenny Lawson who has got to be the funniest person on the face of this planet.  The stories she tells about her day to day life with her hubby (Victor), daughter (Hailey), and cats are enough to make me spit my latte out right onto my lap top screen from laughing so hard.  She has the coolest haunted dollhouse you will ever see.  Collects the craziest dead animals ever.  And even has a huge metal chicken named Beyonce.  And the other night Hunter S. Thomcat tried to take it all away by attempting to strangle the Bloggess in her sleep!  Are you intrigued yet?

Five of My Own:  This amazing blog is written by Lori and she has actually changed her title to “Make that 6 of My Own!”  Lori has three biological sons and three adopted daughters – but they are all her own.  There are days when Lori posts about her kiddos (especially the butterfly, ladybug, and bee) and she just has me cracking up.  But many times her posts bring me to tears.  Lori writes a lot about the adoption process and the projects she is working on in foreign countries like building an emergency department in Haiti.  It devastates me to hear of the pain, the heartache, the rough life that so many children go through waiting to be adopted… if it ever happens.  Through Lori’s words these images are burned in my mind.  And I want so badly to do something – to make a difference.  Lori is truly an angel on earth.

Pretty All True:  Kris.  Let’s just say she is awesomely hilarious.  Kris is the best story teller that uses the F word in all the right places.  With that being said if you aren’t fond of the F word it is probably best ya steer clear of Pretty All True, hehe.  If it doesn’t bother ya then you are in for a treat hearing the hilariousness that occurs between Kris, Mark (her hubby), Kallan, & Maj (her daughters).  Oh and I can’t forget the dogs…. Persie & Jack.  Oh my.  I’m not even gonna say anything else – just go read Pretty All True and laugh your butt off. 

Enjoying the Small Things:  I’ll admit when I visit Kelle Hampton’s blog the first thing I do is skim through the post to find the pictures of her stinkin adorable children – Lainey & Nella.  Once I’ve gushed over their adorableness from their cute hairstyles and eclectic outfits (Alleigh & Kaelyn’s Minnetonka’s are all because of the numerous photos I saw of Nella rockin them) to their stunning eyes I move back to the top and soak up every single word.  Kelle has a way of making you appreciate the small things… of counting your blessings….. of realizing that life really isn’t that bad.  And for that I say thank you.
