I feel so blessed to have three beautiful little girls that call me mama. However these little beauties have done some damage to their mama’s body that is anything but beautiful. I had thought that after having Alleigh and Kaelyn that the stretch marks, varicose veins, extra fat, and dark bags under my eyes were bad… but that was nothing. Willow decided she wanted to get comfy and baked two weeks longer than her sisters and in those two weeks she gave me the gift of stretch marks on my stomach. I had never had stretch marks on my tummy – only my hips and thighs. And then when it was finally time for her to make her debut into the world instead of emerging as she was supposed to my lil munchkin got stuck and mama ended up in an emergency cesarean section. And so now in addition to the stretch marks on my tummy I also have a scar from the incision just a touch below my bikini line. Needless to say this is not the body I remember from about five years ago. I’ll admit I’ve thought a time or two about how I could get that body back or at least something close to it. One place that could definitely help with that process is Westlake Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery in Austin, Texas.
Westlake Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery just turned ten years old and they definitely have something to celebrate with such an awesome team of 10 dermatologists and plastic surgeon on staff. Are you having problems with acne, actinic keratoses, athlete’s foot, dermatitis, hair loss, keratosis pilaris, moles, molluscum, psoriasis, skin cancer, or warts? If so you should definitely consider scheduling an appointment with one of the dermatologists at Westlake. As I previously mentioned they also specialize in cosmetic surgery. Westlake Dermatology cosmetic procedures range from breast augmentation to coolsculpting and smartlipo. The coolsculpting definitely sounds like something that I would be interested in learning more about. It is a non-invasive treatment with no needles, no surgical incisions, no anesthesia, no pain medications, and no recovery time. During the
procedure, a non-invasive applicator is applied to the surface of the skin to deliver precisely controlled cooling which targets and eliminates fat cells in specific areas of the body. Considering I just had major surgery with the cesarean section I like that this doesn’t require cutting and would still eliminate that unwanted fat. Sounds
like a win-win to me! And the proof is in the before and after picture.
But perhaps a cosmetic surgery or even non-invasive procedure just isn’t your sort of thing. In that case you might want to learn more about iDerma which was founded by Westlake. iDerma is a website where you can purchase all sorts of great skin care, hair care, and make up products. One of the products that stood out to me was the Scar Recovery Gel by SkinMedica. This lovely little miracle in a tube helps support key aspects of scar formation to reveal smooth, clear skin plus has specialty key ingredients that are naturally-derived. I’m thinking this would be great for that scar I received from my cesarean section – definitely worth a try!
Is there something about your body you wish you could change? Maybe the answer is at Westlake Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery or iDerma. Check it out.

This review is just on time for me. I gave birth 3 weeks ago and though I took care of my skin while pregnant I still see a bit of stretch marks but i dont think they are enough to have a surgery procedure done or anything like that, plus i wouldn’t do it anyways so I’ll be sure to try Iderma, I’ve bookmarked their website. thank you for your great reviews as always
