It’s Saturday and that means it’s time for the weekly Willow update! I enjoyed writing my pregnancy journal and sharing my journey with everyone so much that I have decided to continue by writing about Willow’s first year. And so each week I will be sharing how my baby girl is growing and changing plus lots of pictures!
PICTURES FROM WILLOW’S 8th WEEK
WHAT WILLOW’S DAYS & NIGHTS ARE LIKE…
Sleeping: This week we had a few rough nights. It seems Willow has another lovely cold from her sisters and last night after nursing she started coughing which led to spitting up. Spitting up everything all over herself, me, the bed…. requiring clothing changes for both of us and the bed. Twice.
Eating: Nursing is still going really well…. with this cold she has been battling the congestion has made nursing a little difficult for her, but she is still nursing regularly.
Diapers: This week I added Charlie Banana to the mix and they also fit well on the smallest setting. I’m glad to be able to add pocket diapers into the mix in addition to the prefolds because for me their a lot easier.
Places She Went: We went to a fall festival this week, to MOPS, on a hike to check out Brandywine Falls, on a field trip with Alleigh’s class to the pumpkin patch, and today to a Halloween event at the Pro Football Hall of Fame….. honestly, I need a nap just thinking about all that.
Other Random Stuff: This week Willow has started responding to me when I talk to her with adorable little coos and gummy baby grins. She is growing and changing so much every day…. I packed away all the newborn cloths and replaced them with 0-3 months and 3-6 months fall and winter clothing…. it’ll be a long while (hopefully) til she is in the 3-6 months, but this way I won’t have to drag the bins out for a while again. Now we need to figure out a way to get rid of this cradle cap…. Kaelyn had it too….. not so easy to get rid of when ya got babies with lots of hair!

I used the Huggies cradle cap I think gentle naturals. It worked really well.
what a little doll! She is growing so fast
Such a pretty baby. I think she looks like you but then again, kind of hard to tell. You and your hubby could pass for sister and brother I think. Isn’t it something how we can meet mates who look so much like we do. I have seen that so often
What a precious little girl. Our little guy is almost 3 months now, and had cradle cap on the top of his head. We used a little bit of vitamin E on the areas and it cleared right up. =)
Corbin had cradle cap and I used the Mustella (sp?) brand from babies r us I believe. It is cradle cap shampoo thats a foam and it worked really well and smelled great too. Just thought I would share
I cant believe how much she has grown it just doesnt seem possible that it has been 8 weeks but Im sure I dont have to tell you that.:)
