2012 Holiday Gift Guide

Bejjcole-logofore I became a mom I had way too many purses and naturally that addiction turned to diaper bags.  And so for nearly the past five years I have used so many diaper bags, but they all had one thing in common – they were obviously diaper bags.  I had really been wanting to find a bag that was big enough to hold everything I need for my girls in an organized manner, but had more of a “purse” look and I finally found it at JJ Cole Collections.

JJ Cole Collections has a great selection of diaper bags to choose from, but the one that I absolutely loved and just had to have was the Satchel Bag.  It is available in canvas and faux leather in a variety of colors.  I received Charcoal Trellis which is a canvas option.

For me a diaper bag needs to be rather large.  Since we cloth diaper they take up a lot more room in the bag then disposables plus you can’t forget a wet bag (to store the dirty diapers).  The Satchel Bag was the perfect size for me at 17”w by 13”h by 6”d plus it has so many pockets to keep everything organized.  In fact there are 8 exterior pockets – two of which have zippers and are perfect for storing my smart phone and blog business cards – as well as 4 interior pockets.  Just check out how much I can fit in there!

Just off the top of my head I know there were 5 newborn cloth diapers, a wet bag, nursing cover, 2 changes of cloths for Willow, a few pull-ups, pants for Kaelyn, changing pad (which comes with the Satchel Bag), wallet, plus a few more odds and ends.  Plus I love all the different ways you can carry it too.

I typically use the attached handles because it easily swings over my shoulder and gives the purse vibe that I had been searching for, however you can also use the detachable padded shoulder strap.

Plus if you are using a stroller instead of taking up precious basket storage space JJ Cole Collections have included Grips Stroller Attachments which you simply loop over the push bar of your stroller and hook to the Satchel Bag.  The Grips don’t take up much space so I just shove them down into one of the exterior pockets so they are always with the diaper bag no matter what stroller I may be using at the time… I may have a stroller addiction too, hehe.

I also want to mention that this diaper bag is PVC and phthalate free.  Plus it is very reasonably priced at $69.95 (canvas) and $89.95 (faux leather).  This bag is composed of high quality materials and is made to last.  I receive compliments everywhere I go with it and I absolutely love that it doesn’t scream “diaper bag.”  I am now a stylish momma and you can be too.  Simply enter the giveaway below for your chance to score your very own JJ Cole Collections Satchel Bag.  Good Luck!

    • Beh, qui hai ragione effettivamente Fede risulta inattacabile, ma….la sua attrazzione perversa per l’Impalatore:):)tu sei Grande Mak…per aver creato questo spazio…ma nun te montà la capoccia:):)

I can’t believe you’re not playing with me–that was so helpful.

One point that needs to be addressed; "The Obama "Fight the Smears" website has published a digital photograph of a short-form "Certification of Live Birth" that they claim was issued by the Hawaiian Department of Health. There has been no evidence that Hawaii issued the document in either 2007 or in 2008.

    • Along with everything which appears to be building throughout this specific subject matter, all your viewpoints are generally fairly exciting. Nevertheless, I am sorry, because I do not subscribe to your entire idea, all be it radical none the less. It would seem to everyone that your commentary are actually not totally justified and in simple fact you are yourself not fully confident of your assertion. In any event I did enjoy reading through it.

    • Robin and Wonder Woman are too blatant, although would make really great cosplay for a future PR contest. The Bat-helmet is by far the greatest success, but my burning question is: why is this not currently Aquaman? I can’t imagine old Arthur is anything but a headache to DC execs. Is anyone really violently opposed to such a radical departure? This is what Aquaman needs, in my opinion. Money is so tight these days that I hesitate buying issues to story arcs by creators I already like, and I would drop five bucks right now to read that Aquaman.

    • Does anyone know if Dr Polland AKA Polarik, has done any videos addressing the seal on Obama’s COLB, or the results of misstickly’s work?In all of the videos Polarik has done, I don’t remember any that addressed the seal, even though it was shown in the photographs of Obama’s forgery.Maybe it is time for Factcheck.org to authenticate the “seal” they claim is an official Hawaiian document. But then again, who is going to prosecute them?

  15. Bekah Kuczenski says:

I would change everything about my current bag. Its falling apart, not big enough, stained… I need a new bag lol

    • Karson says:

Haha, shouldn’t you be charging for that kind of knoegwdle?!

    • I remember very well when Poley lived in Michigan and would come to Etowah to visitfriends of his family and Evelyn’s. Evelyn was my first cousin. Her mother and mydaddy were brother and sister. I was named after Evelyn. My sympathy is extended to Bill and Joan and all the Davis family. Your in my thoughts andprayers.

    • Hiya, I’m really glad I have found this information. Today bloggers publish just about gossips and web and this is really irritating. A good blog with interesting content, that is what I need. Thanks for keeping this site, I will be visiting it. Do you do newsletters? Can not find it.

Nick: Carrier is referring to a passage in Philo's On the Confusion of Tongues in which Philo interprets a passage from Zechariah 6 about the high priest Jesus (Joshua) to be the firstborn of the Father of the Universe.I'm not competent to judge how solid this connection is, but early Jewish/Christian interpretations of Zechariah are no doubt relevant to Christian ideas about the Messiah.

    • Those who accuse me of hyperbole would do well to read Phillip Roth’s novel, ‘The Plot Against America’ (about the emergence of an imagined fascist state in the US under the Nazi-sympathising aviator Charles Lindbergh).I read that a few weeks ago. Excellent book and good analogy.

    • Man kan ju inte vara pÃ¥ topp alla dagar tyvärr. Men glöm inte bort att ta det lite lugnt ocksÃ¥, det behövs det med!
