If it’s not quite obvious yet I love personalized gifts – especially for my girls since they have names you won’t typically find on sippy cups and other items Personal-Creationsthat come pre-personalized in stores.  And so when I came across the Personal Creations website I was literally giddy with excitement over just how many items I could have personalized!  There are literally hundreds of items that can be personalized with a photo, date, name, monogram, event name, special message and many more options.  With Christmas right around the corner personalized gifts are perfect because it shows the person you put thought into their gift rather than just running out to the closest store at the last minute.

As I mentioned there are hundreds of items to choose from that will cover everyone on your gift list including him, her, babies, kids, as well as home décor.  Plus there are also items specifically for the holidays such as ornaments and Christmas stockings.  I absolutely love seeing all the stockings hung on a fireplace mantle with the little ones names embroidered on them.  One of the great things about personalized gifts is that they are something the recipient will cherish forever and so when browsing around Personal Creations looking for the perfect item for Willow I wanted something that she could keep forever, perhaps something that would fit in her baby box.  I knew I found the perfect item with the Baby Alphabet Quilt.

This quilt is available in both primary and pastel colors, so of course I had to go with pastel for my baby girl.  It measures 42” tall by 32” wide and is made of 100% cotton and 100% polyfill.  I absolutely love all the adorable animals and the super cute embellishments like yarn tails, patchwork, and the varying soft textures.

As for the personalization… any message can be embroidered on the Baby Alphabet Quilt on one line and a maximum of 18 characters.  As you can see I went with “Willow Jean.”  I love the font style that was used because it is large and easy to read.  However, I wish the color of thread would have been a bit different – like the lighter pink used in the example image on the Personal Creations website that matches the pink in the fabric. It bothers me a bit that the embroidery thread used on Willow’s quilt doesn’t match any color in the actual fabric of the quilt.

We currently use this blanket as a place for Willow to lounge on our hard wood floors and it will also be a perfect size to use as a blanket when she is a toddler.  This could also be used as a wall hanging in a nursery because it is just so adorable.  And as I mentioned we will definitely be putting this quilt in Willow’s baby box when she becomes to big for it.

This quilt would make a perfect Christmas gift for a special baby or toddler in your life – I highly suggest it and Willow does too!  And remember it comes in primary colors too.

Make sure to browse around the rest of the Personal Creations site because there is definitely something there for everyone.  In my opinion you can’t go wrong with a personalized gift.  And they are super fast shipping most items out within one to three days – if you are really last minute they even offer rush delivery.  Plus Personal Creations offers gift wrapping!  For just $4.95 your gift will arrive wrapped in an elegant white presentation gift box and gold ribbon.  Happy shopping!
