2012 Holiday Gift Guide: The Children’s Place Review & Giveaway

the-childrens-place-logoWith three girls clothing can get rather expensive especially since I like matching or coordinating my girls outfits all the time.  My husband thinks I have a problem, but I plan to match them as long as they’ll let me, hehe.  One store I can always count on to have high quality, reasonably priced clothing so I can match my girls all the time is The Children’s Place.  It’s always the first store I stop by when visiting our local mall in search of clothes for Alleigh, Kaelyn, and Willow.

One thing I really love about The Children’s Place is that their clothing is tasteful and age appropriate.  I have noticed many brands of children’s clothing going down a path that I don’t like – instead of looking like clothing designed for kids they look like clothing designed for miniature adults ready to hit the club and let’s just say that isn’t gonna fly in the Harper household.  I very much appreciate that The Children’s Place realizes that I am shopping for my children and has designed their clothing to reflect just that – you won’t find low cut tops or super short skirts in store or online when shopping at The Children’s Place and in my opinion that is exactly how it should be.  I will especially like this as my girls get older since it seems to be getting harder to find clothing for pre-teens that are tasteful and age appropriate.  Luckily The Children’s Place has kiddos covered from newborn through child size 14!

Not to mention everything at The Children’s Place is very trendy.  In fact the other day we were waiting our turn at a restaurant to eat and a family with two teenage daughters was sitting near us.  Their mom mentioned that my older girls reminded her of her own girls when they were little.  One of her daughters replied “Yup, that’s what we looked like when we were little and look how cute & well dressed they are too!”  My girls were totally rocking coordinating Children’s Place outfits that day and looked very stylish.

Nearly everyday at least one of my girls is wearing something from The Children’s Place whether it be a hat, shirt, onesie, sleeper, headband, pants, sweater, pajamas.  Check out these photos to see just what I mean…

Yup, it’s safe to say I may have a slight The Children’s Place addiction, hehe.  But the great thing is these clothes are high quality and will last through many kiddos.  In fact Willow is now wearing some clothes that were originally Alleigh’s – that means one shirt has been on three different kids and still looks great, can’t beat that.

Be sure to check out The Children’s Place website because there are lots of awesome sales going on right now.  Plus the $5 flat rate shipping is awesome, but if you spend $75 shipping is FREE!
