2012 Holiday Gift Guide: Tiny Love Super Mat & Follow Me Fiona Review & Giveaway

When it comes to toys and soothers Tiny Love definitely knows what babies want.  Over the past few months I have shared quite a few different Tiny Love tiny loveproducts including the Gymini Move & Play Activity Mat, 3-in-1 Rocker Napper, Take Along Mobile, My Nature Pals Mobile, Crosby Clip On Crab, and a few rattles.  And I am so happy to say that we use almost all of these products on a daily basis because Willow loves them.  Crosby Crab is practically a permanent attachment to her infant car seat and the Take Along Mobile is positioned over the changing table – both are absolute life savers for keeping my Willow Jean entertained.  And so when I had the opportunity to try out two more Tiny Love products I had full expectations that they would also become part of our daily lives and I was so glad to be proven right.

One of the items Willow received was the Tiny Love Super Mat and it definitely livIMG_6919es up to it’s name – don’t let the fact that it’s just a mat deceive you because it is so so SO much more than that.  In fact I think Tiny Love should consider renaming it the Super Awesome Fantastic Amazing Mat, hehe.  Willow loves to wiggle and roll around but our living room is a hard wood floor so I needed something that was big enough for her to move around on without constantly rolling onto the floor.  The Super Mat is a perfect thickness which creates a nice cushioned surface for Willow to lounge on and at 59” by 39” is big enough for her to roll around on or an adult {such as her pappy} to lie beside her and play too!

Plus there are many features to entertain her no matter which way she rolls.  There are lots of varying textures for her to touch – the crinkly pocket and elephant ear are Willow’s current favorites.

She also really likes the soothing teether, pull-me spiral, and checking herself out in the adjustable mirror.  In fact the only time she seems to enjoy tummy time is when she can look in that mirror!  There is also a ring for attaching extra toys and a little squeaker though she hasn’t figured that out yet.

Momma loves that I can easily fold up the Super Mat and carry it around with the convenient handles which makes it easy to have a large soft clean play area for baby girl no matter where we go – especially great with the holidays.  Plus it is machine washable – we all know that babies are master mess makers with all the drool, spit up, and sometimes even poop explosions so being machine washable is a definite must.  And so if you are looking for a gift that is sure to please parent and baby the Super Mat is sure to be a hit!

The other toy Willow received was Follow Me Fiona – which also comes in Fred for the boys or girls who don’t like pink, hehe.

Let me start by saying this puppy is just so darn cute!  She has a soft plush IMG_6982head and tail plus crinkly ears which are definitely Willow’s favorite part right now.  And not only does she bark and sing friendly tunes, but she also walks!!  That’s right – if you give her a gentle tap Fiona will slowly roll forward which will encourage baby to crawl.  Since Willow is only four months old we have been bending Fiona’s flexible middle so when tapped she walks in a circle instead of away from her.  Another nice feature is that she can be muted, but will still “walk” when tapped – perfect for when quiet toys are necessary.  I am sure that Fiona will definitely become a favorite toy as Willow becomes mobile – but for now she enjoys chewing on her, hehe.

One thing is for sure a Tiny Love Super Mat or Follow Me Fiona/Fred are sure to please the baby in your life and will get tons of use.  Plus they are both reasonably priced as are all Tiny Love products.  Head on over to the Tiny Love website and check out all the great products they have available – I’m sure you’ll find at least a few products that would be perfect for the little ones on your Christmas list.  But before you go make sure to enter the giveaway below.  One lucky reader is going to win their choice of either a Super Mat or Follow me Fiona/Fred.  Enter using the Rafflecopter form.  Good luck!

Viagra…It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thick…

Today, while I was at work, my cousin stole my apple ipad and tested to see if it can survive a 40 foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My iPad is now broken and she has 83 views. I know this is totally off topic but I had to share it with someone!

    • My main issue with Stanford Housing is the mental health and welfare of ALL of the students. It is so important to provide different living situations for different students with different needs and capabilities. I have been to XOX and I love the sense of community there and would be sad to see it go. Thanks for standing up for your community! Thanks for standing up for fellow students who are up to living in a cooperative kind of community where the Golden Rule is what rules the day. Don’t let people who don’t even read the whole article and who somehow avoid the facts bring you down. xox forever!
