I can’t believe it’s been a little over a year since I first introduced my readers to My Kids Lids and I am so excited to feature Katie Segel Liban, owner and designer, on my blog once again.  If you’ve been hanging around for any length of time then you have probably realized that I love matching my girls and I was so excited to have Katie make Alleigh and Kaelyn custom hats to perfectly match their red pea coats.

Before I share the girls ridiculously adorable hats I want to give ya a bit of background information about My Kids Lids.  My Kids Lids is approaching a decade of business!  Katie founded her company in 2004 and is based out of Milwaukee.  Her inspiration flows from her two children, Owen and Josie, who have even helped design some of the hats in Katie’s shop. A floral hat was the first design to kick off My Kids Lids and now there are more than thirty styles to choose from – plus Katie is open to custom orders as well.

As I was browsing around the My Kids Lids shop I saw so many hats that were absolutely gorgeous, but none that were the perfect color to go with my big girls red pea coats.  But guess what – when I told Katie that gray and red would be the perfect color combination she whipped them right up for my girls in the Flapper Hat – Flower Child design.  I absolutely love the 3D effect of the flower petals and just as I expected these hats were made with the same love and care as our first My Kids Lids hat.  Just look how cute these hats are on my girls {excuse Kaelyn’s pouty moment, hehe}!  They couldn’t look more perfect with these coats than if we had bought them together to begin with.

My Kids Lids are available in a range of sizes beginning with newborns up to tweens!  Of course we couldn’t leave Willow out of the fun and when I saw the girl elephant hat I’m pretty sure I let out an audible “awwwww!” The pink elephants on green background is just too cute and the elephant’s ear has that same fun 3D effect as the flowers do.  Since these hats are made out of warm soft fleece I am confident even my tiniest bundle of joy’s head will stay toasty warm all while looking adorable at the same time.  Plus how convenient that Willow’s hat coordinates with my Boba carrier?  Doesn’t get more perfect than that, hehe.

I truly can not say enough positive things about these hats and I guarantee once my girls out grow these we will definitely be getting more.  Just check out all the styles Katie has to offer at My Kids Lids – I am sure you will find something that fits the little guy or girl’s personality in your life perfectly.  Plus Katie also makes matching scarves, ponchos, purses, headbands, and more to complete the ensemble.  Oh and guess what.  One lucky reader is going to win their choice of hat from Katie’s extensive selection.  To enter fill out the Rafflecopter form below – good luck!
