Never Wordless Wednesday: Fun in the Snow & Happy Tuesday!

We have gotten quite a bit of snow recently.  And though I am not a fan of the white cold stuff once the girls saw it they wanted to go out and play.  Last year there wasn’t much snow at all so we didn’t have any snow gear which meant mama had to run out to the store and make some quick purchases of snow pants, coats, boots, and gloves – matching, of course!  The girls were so excited and had a ball outside with their dad.  A few days later Aunt Courtney came over and built a snowman with them.  They are definitely loving the snow and I head out long enough to snap pictures, hehe.

And even though I have already overloaded you with pictures…. I had to share the kiddos watching the New Year ring in!  It was the first time I let Alleigh and Kaelyn stay up til midnight and I couldn’t believe they made it.  I almost peed myself though from laughing so hard because when the ball dropped my nephew, Cash, who is three years old shouted “HAPPY TUESDAY!”  It was seriously the best thing ever.

My mom just bought my guys snow suits for when we move- we’ve been living in NC for 10 years and haven’t had the need- but we move next month to NJ! I can’t wait to see what the twins think of snow!

  2. I love how the girls clothing ALWAYS matches!

  3. As much as I hate the cold weather and snow, I am kinda jealous. Here in Chicago it’s snowed twice but it didn’t stick. We have snow pants and a sled all ready to go for Gracie… but no snow. I love that pink and green combo you have the girls in. Cute! Happy New Year!

My kids love playing in the snow too. We have friends who live in Bolivia now and they came home this winter for the first time in 3 years. They have a 2 year old daughter who has never seen snow before. Their daughter planted herself in a snowbank and wouldn’t get up her first chance to play in the snow, she loved it so much.
