Tea Collection Review & $100 Giveaway

I have a slight addiction to Tea and no I’m not talking about the drink.  Well, ok, I am addicted the drink too.  But today I am talking about a different Tea.  Today I am talking about Tea – Globally inspired children’s clothes for little citizens of the world.  And oh my gosh I just can’t get enough of them.  Aside from the super high quality you will find at Tea there is one thing in particular that keeps me coming back for more that is truly unique… discovering their current destination.  Let me explain.

Before designing their line for the upcoming season the talented designers at Tea take an international trip.  They have gone all over the world.  Just a few places include West Africa, Japan, Brazil, and Bali.  While there they soak up all the beauty and uniqueness that each destination has to offer so that when they come home all of those inspirations can be transformed into amazing outfits for their new line.  And they awesome part is they do this every single seNordic-Mapason which means you will always find something new and exciting at Tea.

Most recently Tea traveled 6,000 miles to Denmark, Sweden, and Finland where they found eye-popping colors, bold florals, swaggering stripes, and more bikes than cars on the cobblestone streets.   They found that in Nordic design there is a brilliant combination of clean, modern feeling with the charm of handmade crafts and brought that home to share with us!  I was thrilled to receive some of the stunning pieces from the Nordic Design Fall 2012 line for Alleigh, Kaelyn, and Willow.

I have a weakness for Tea dresses and leggings.  I would love for my girls wardrobe to contain nothing else.  When I saw the Daisy Chain Mini Dress I knew it would be perfect for Alleigh and Kaelyn paired with some Vermillion Leggings.  Alleigh is my hot blooded child…. she always wants to wear short sleeves no matter how cold it is outside so I knew she would be thrilled with the ruffly short sleeves on this dress.  I love the screen print graphic which is holding up extremely well after many many washing and the dainty keyhole closure in the back is a perfect finishing touch.  Of course I had to get a coordinating romper for Willow which made for perfect family pictures!

Alleigh and Kaelyn also received the Lidkoping Leaves Layer Dress with a pattern inspired by the beautiful city of Lidkoping, Sweden.  Paired up with a pair of heather gray leggings the girls were ready to run, jump, play, and tear open Christmas gifts!  I love the layered look and since it’s not actually an entire shirt underneath I can still convince Alleigh to wear it since she won’t get overheated.  She may only be four years old, but the girl definitely has an opinion when it comes to her clothing…. I can only imagine what is to come.  Oh and I just have to add I absolutely adore how these dresses look with the girls little moccasin shoes.  Soooo stinkin cute I can’t even stand it! Hehe.
