It’s Saturday and that means it’s time for the weekly Willow update! I enjoyed writing my pregnancy journal and sharing my journey with everyone so much that I have decided to continue by writing about Willow’s first year. And so each week I will be sharing how my baby girl is growing and changing plus lots of pictures!
PICTURES FROM WILLOW’S 20th WEEK
WHAT WILLOW’S DAYS & NIGHTS ARE LIKE…
Sleeping: This week has been mainly sleeping with mama all night an
d latched on the majority of the night. I don’t mind since I can sleep through it and I love the snuggles. I especially love feeling her little hand reach out to touch me. That picture is how our nights typically go…. snapped it before turning the lights out, hehe.
Eating: We’re still exclusively breastfeeding – Dr. Tom asked if we had started solids at Willow’s 4 month well check-up, but I plan to wait until she is 6 months old unless she shows interest sooner. As of now she is perfectly content with the breast milk.
A First: New Years Eve. We went over to Uncle Andrew & Aunt Lea’s house to play board games, eat lots of food, and watch the ball drop. Willow fell asleep at about 11:15PM so she missed the ball dropping – big sister’s made it this year for the first time though!
Places She Went: Uncle Andrew & Aunt Lea’s house, Aunt Tiffany & Uncle Justin’s house, grocery shopping.
Other Random Stuff: “Talking,” smiling, and drooling all the time. She
still prefers sucking her middle and index finger instead of her thumb. Oh and now whenever I change her clothes Willow immediately starts sucking her arm and won’t quit til I get her clothes back on – crazy baby. One of my favorite times of the day is when Alleigh and Kaelyn are napping and I get to spend snuggle time with just Willow – don’t get much quiet one on one time with a two and four year old around so I soak it up.

She’s precious!. She looks to be pretty healthy and a happy Baby!!
Oh my.. she is growing so fast!!
I love the one of you both looking at each other.. so sweet! And the one of her sucking on her arm is too funny. lol
Wow – she is getting so big! She doesn’t look like a newborn anymore… (not sure if I should put a sad or happy face here, lol).
awww she’s a cutie! Evan is also sleeping and latching most the night the last few nights. I love every minute I can be with him so I don’t mind. When I take Evan’s diaper off he immediately grabs his feet and shoves his toes in his mouth… lol!
This is one of the cutest stages so far! I love all of the smiling!!
The boy I nanny for just turned 9 months. He will eat puffs, or the mum mum’s, but he is mostly still on breast milk. They started giving him baby food a little after 6 months, but he just isn’t into it. He’s a healthy baby, so there are no worries.
She is precious! Enjoy the moments…they do go by all too fast.
Love those big smiles!
All three of them are so beautiful!!!! You are so blessed to have them. This time goes by so fast!!!
She is so sweet! I especially like the picture of her with the giraffe!
