It’s Saturday and that means it’s time for the weekly Willow update!  I enjoyed writing my pregnancy journal and sharing my journey with everyone so much that I have decided to continue by writing about Willow’s first year.  And so each week I will be sharing how my baby girl is growing and changing plus lots of pictures!

PICTURES FROM WILLOW’S 21st WEEK

WHAT WILLOW’S DAYS & NIGHTS ARE LIKE…

Sleeping:  After the big girls go to bed Willow nurses and falls asleep around 9pm or so.  But she has been now getting into the habit of waking back up around midnight when it used to be 3am-ish.  After that she sleeps with me the rest of the night.

Eating:  Exclusively breastfeeding, but munchkin gets distracted quite easily which is probably why she nurses more at night.  This week she has taken a little notice when I am eating… just watching though and seeming a bit intrigued. She hasn’t tried to reach for anything though and so I’m still planning on waiting a bit longer to introduce solids.

A First:  Her first BIG entertainment type event…. we went and saw Disney On Ice: Rockin’ Ever After!  We even got to meet Princess Merida and Willow absolutely loved her hair.  In fact she grabbed two big handfuls and I had to pry her little fingers out of those long curly red locks, hehe.

Places She Went:  Aunt Tiffany & Uncle Justin’s house for Cash’s 4th Birthday Party, Bowling Alley for my Monday night league, Quicken Loans Arena for Disney On Ice.

Other Random Stuff:  She still prefers sucking her index and middle finger opposed to the thumb and is just “talking” up a storm.  Dustin says her coos sound like a morning dove.  Willow really likes to lounge around on her play mat on the floor and so I took it with us to the bowling alley.  Another lady has a little boy just a month older than Willow and we happened to be on lanes right beside each other so she had her first little play date.  Oh and we also got the jumperoo out for the first time this week and Willow loved it.
