Our family has visited Quicken Loans Arena quite a few times over the past few years to attend Monster Jam as well as Disney On Ice.  Every time we go I know Dustin would prefer to see a basketball court down on the arena floor instead of dirt or ice and he is finally getting that chance.  On March 20th the hubby and I {plus Willow} are going to enjoy a fun date night watching the Cleveland Cavaliers {hopefully} beat the Miami Heat.

That night is going to be extremely awesome for one unsung hero…

EveryFan Night
Cavs vs. Miami Heat
Wednesday, March 20th at 7:00 p.m.

The Cavs are searching for Cleveland’s Unsung Hero – a special fan who deserves their own tribute & an awesome one at that.

Just one person can make a difference in a community.  They are everyday people who give back by giving of themselves, often with little or no recognition.  But WHO are they, and WHERE are they?  The Cavs are searching for that everyday hero who takes pride in his or her community and encompasses the true spirit of “All for One. One for All.”  Fans are invited to nominate someone they know who is deserving of an experience of a lifetime during EveryFAN Night on Wednesday, March 20th at 7:00 p.m. as the Cavs face the defending NBA champion Miami Heat.

The EveryFAN will have a night they’ll never forget, tipping off with their own seat on the Cavs bench while the team warms up on the court! During halftime, the honoree will stand center court and be duly recognized amongst thousands of cheering fans for the significant role they play in making Cleveland great. Following the fourth quarter, they’ll have exclusive access to the Cavs post-game press conference as Coach Scott addresses the media.

Plus the EveryFan will also receive:
Two premium seats to the March 20th game
Round-trip limousine service provided by
Shima Limousine
Pre-game dinner for two at the
Hard Rock Café
Personalized Cavaliers jersey
Foosball table courtesy of
Fire pit courtesy of Budweiser

Fans can submit their essay nominations for the everyday hero in their community by visiting cavs.com/EveryFAN now through Thursday, March 14th at 11:59 p.m. Essay submissions must be 500 words or less to tell the story of the unsung hero and what makes them stand out as one of Cleveland’s best. A panel of VIP judges will be looking for a unique candidate who has made a real difference in the lives of others and is deserving of their own tribute. For official rules and to submit EveryFAN nominations, please visit cavs.com/EveryFAN.

To be a part of the EveryFAN Night celebration, fans can get their tickets to the Cavs vs. Miami Heat game on March 20th by calling 800-820-CAVS (2287), on cavs.com, all northern Ohio Discount Drug Mart locations and the Quicken Loans Arena Box Office. Tickets purchased by phone or at cavs.com will be delivered through Flash Seats, the primary method of ticketing for the Cavaliers and Quicken Loans Arena.

Do you or someone you know fit the description of the EveryFAN?  If so, hurry up and get your essay nomination submitted!  I would love to see a Happenings of the Harper Household reader standing center court on March 20th.  Let me know if you enter so I know names to listen for!

What a great idea, there are plenty of local people that fit the bill. Its nice to honor them at a place that is usually only for gifted athletes. Hopefully the chosen person gets a nice standing ovation!

What an amazing thing that they do for people who are most of the time unrecognized. I love that you can nominate everyday people who truly make an impact! I love the great perks too
