I love diaper bags. Dustin might call it an addiction. But I seriously can’t get enough of them. It’s basically a purse for a mom and that means different colors, sizes, and shapes are necessary for different situations. Would you carry a sparkly clutch to the super market? Most likely not. It’s basically the same concept for diaper bags – hence the reason I need so many, hehe. That’s also the reason I will never pass up the opportunity to feature a diaper bag here at Happenings of the Harper Household. And so when I was approached by Pink Lining to review one of their bags I was beyond excited.
After getting it’s start in a basement flat Pink Lining soon became the United Kingdom’s #1 Diaper Bag. Just recently they established the United States Pink Lining Headquarters and launched at the ABC Kids Expo in Las Vegas. Not to mention they were selected to be the gift of choice for celebrities attending the Golden Globes in Beverly Hills!
I received the Pink Lining Poppins Bag in Apple Tree. With three kiddos ranging in age from 6 months to nearly 5 years old a large diaper bag is a must for me and I was definitely pleased with the size of the Poppins Bag which measures 36(L) x 38(H) x 10(W) cm. I am able to fit everything I need for my little ones in the main section of the bag which also includes quite a few compartments. And I love that I can keep my “mom stuff” separate in the front zippered pocket. Plus the front pocket features a pen holder, key fob, and little mirror to keep everything organized.
Now this made me really excited. Pink Lining sells matching wallets for their diaper bags! I love when everything matches and so this was perfect for me. Check out all those card slots, change pocket, and space for a check book.
The shoulder strap looks a bit long in this picture, but I tend to wear it across my body when not baby wearing and just hadn’t adjusted it. I do love how long this shoulder strap is because it gives many options for carrying the diaper bag as well as fitting over stroller handle bars with ease.
And I adore the pink patterned background against the solid canvas front pocket panel. The red gingham mom & baby deer are so sweet – I get so many compliments on this bag. If apple trees, butterflies, flowers, and deer aren’t your cup of tea – no worries. Pink Lining has plenty of other designs and styles including Love Birds, Tree of Life (which I L.O.V.E.), and many more! I am sure you will find something that you will love as well.
And guess what? One lucky Happenings of the Harper Household reader is going to win their very own Poppins Bag! To enter fill out the giveaway form below. Good luck!

Would you go for a diaper bag with a shoulder strap or one in backpack design? A lot of the designs that are coming out in the market are in backpack design which is more convenient for any parent. With a backpack diaper bag, you have both hands free to take care of your baby and carry other stuff.-’
