It’s Sunday so I’m a tad late, but it’s time for the weekly Willow update! I enjoyed writing my pregnancy journal and sharing my journey with everyone so much that I have decided to continue by writing about Willow’s first year. And so each week I will be sharing how my baby girl is growing and changing plus lots of pictures!

WHAT WILLOW’S DAYS & NIGHTS ARE LIKE…
My poor little Willow didn’t feel good this week at all. On Monday evening she started feeling really warm and had a temperature of 101.4F come Tuesday morning. Since she had RSV when only a few months old I get super worried any time anything is the slightest bit off and so I called the doctor. We got an appointment with the nurse practitioner and headed to the office. At that point she only had the fever and was really grumpy… I thought maybe ear infection, but her ears were fine. The nurse practitioner attributed it to maybe a virus and teething so on our way we went. Then she kept getting worse. As soon as the Motrin would wear off her temperature would shoot back up to 101.4-102F and I couldn’t set her down at all. Even when she fell asleep if I set her down she would start screaming. Then the nasal congestion started and I made a call back to the doctor on Thursday. We went in and after checking her all out Dr. Tom thought she might have a sinus infection. We went home with a prescription for amoxicillin and though it has been a pain in the butt to get her to take it after just one dose her fever has stayed down and she is improving each day. I have to give it to her twice a day for 10 days and each time it takes about 5-10 minutes because I have to squeeze tiny bits in and wait for her to swallow, but definitely worth it since it is definitely working. So happy to have my smiling baby back!
Sleeping: With munchkin butt being sick this was a super rough week for sleeping, but since she is feeling better I have hopes we will get back to normal very soon. Fingers crossed!
Eating: This week we didn’t do much baby led weaning because Willow was very grumpy (again due to being sick). She didn’t want to sit in her high chair or try to pick up food. And so this week we just stuck to breastfeeding to keep her tummy full and her body hydrated.
Diapers: We haven’t talked about diapers in a while! I decided to go through my massive stash of cloth diapers and sell lots and lots of them. Why? To get new ones or well new to me! And so I am slowly transitioning my stash to all GroVia, Fuzzibunz, BumGenius, and AppleCheeks. With that being said since Miss Willow is on antibiotics right now we are in disposables. I want to try out all my new diapers, but I have had past issues with antibiotics and yeast in my diapers with Kaelyn and I’m not going back down that road.
Places She Went: Craft Show, Bowling Alley, Dr. Tom’s x2, grocery shopping, Grandma Nellie’s for Uncle Johnny’s 50th Surprise Birthday Party
Ever wonder what blogging with a 29 week old looks like? Hehe…

Poor baby with her breathing treatments. I am glad she in on the mend!
When my kids get sick I feel helpless. Holding them and caring for them just doesn’t seem to go very far. Those are the times when you wish you could just take the cold from them and have it for yourself. My oldest son went through breathing treatments a couple of times from the time he was an infant until about 5 years of age. The good thing about kids is that they typically bounce back quickly in response to medical treatment. Good luck!
My little ones are sick this week as well. It’s the worst feeling ever
Oh the poor little thing. I love the picture of the three girls in their bunny headbands. To cute!
