Mornings.  Ugh…. mornings are so not my friend.  Now my kiddos on the other hand?  They wake up bright eyed, bursting at the seams with energy, and totally forgetting the concept of an inside voice, hehe.  They also wake up hungry and want something more than a bowl of cereal though that is the only thing that is really my speed in those morning hours.  Until now.  I had heard that one of my favorite brands – Tyson – had launched a new product available at Sam’s Club that would be perfect for my morning dreading self.  And so a few days ago Willow and I made our first trip to Sam’s Club to check out the Tyson Fully Cooked Sausage Patties.

We had a great time checking out all the great products available for purchase as we made our way back to the frozen foods section.  Once there we were able to sample the Tyson Fully Cooked Sausage Patties on a breakfast sandwich. Let me just say that it was super yummy.  While I was enjoying this scrumptious sample Willow was trying to steal it – I did give her a bit of English muffin though – I can share, hehe.  But what sold me on these tasty sausage patties was that I could have them ready to eat in just a few minutes!  Knowing that I just had to have a bag.  Feel free to check out my Google+ story to view our entire path to purchase.

Once home I couldn’t wait til the next morning so we had breakfast for dinner – better known as brinner.  I grabbed the Tyson Fully Cooked Sausage Patties from the freezer, opened the bag, preheated a skillet on medium heat, then warmed the sausages up for about two minutes on each side.  That’s it!  Within minutes we had hot yummy sausage patties.

Then came the real test…. the Alleigh and Kaelyn test.  I put the plates in front of the girls and informed Kaelyn that she at least had to try the sausage.  It’s a never ending battle trying to get a little bit of protein in that child.  But after they both tasted the sausage patties there was no more coaxing – they gobbled it right up and even asked for more!

Score one for mom and all thanks to Tyson!  And mornings?  Those are easier too.  I’m now able to get a hot filling breakfast on the table for my girls within a few minutes.  No more boring cereal every day and with these scrumptious sausage patties to start the day with even I am enjoying mornings a little more.  Give them a try – I bet you’ll love them too.

My kids and I are the same when we wake up, ready to go. Now my wife on the other hand could probably sleep in till lunch! I’m not sure my kids would like these but its worth a try. They probably wouldn’t do it for breakfast, they like their cereal. I make breakfast for dinner, pancakes/waffles/french toast, at least once a week and would love to serve these up as a side dish.

  14. Szia!

  16. I’m so sorry for your loss. I went to the roller rink Fri and Sat. and remember the dances. I also remember that you Dad and husband had very strict rules about how the young people should conduct themselves. I always respected that. He was a great person.
