I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Air Wick. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

With a 10 month old and a three year old who has no interest in using the potty my nose catches whiffs of nastiness pretty often.  Add that to other things that stink like garbage and burnt food (not that I ever do that, hehe) and it is absolutely necessary to have something with a pleasant smell.  Heck, even if your house doesn’t have one nasty smell adding a pleasant smell can never be a bad thing.  And that is where Air Wick comes into the picture.

Air Wick was developed in 1943 and was one of the first odor eliminators that looked great and left homes across the United States smelling clean and fresh.  Today Air Wick provides the solution to all your home fragrancing needs with a wide range of products in a variety of formats and fragrances. With Air Wick your home always smells fresh and inviting, as well as creating just the right atmosphere to enhance your mood.  Most recently they released the Limited Edition National Parks Collection and I was very excited to try these scents out in my own home.

Air Wick National Parks Collection

Air Wick is a proud supporter of the National Park Foundation (NPF), the official charity of America’s National Parks which is what inspired them to develop the limited edition National Park Collection. This collection includes six new limited edition fragrances which were crafted by fragrance experts who spent countless hours creating the perfect harmony of fragrance notes representative of the natural elements found in these national parks.  Even though I have never personally visited the Grand Canyon, American Samoa, Hawaii, or Denali these fragrances allowed me to literally inhale the scents I would smell if I was really there from the comforts of my own home.

I received the National Park Collection in scented oils and a scented candle.  Air Wick scented oils can be plugged into warmers, night light warmers, and double fresh warmers.  I currently have a warmer in my kitchen with the American Samoa scented oil plugged in.  I am loving the sweet coconut and island palms scents… if I close my eyes I can almost forget for a moment that I’m in Ohio… well until a baby cries or a diaper needs changed, hehe.

I really like that with the warmer’s advanced design you can control the fragrance level and that the rotating plug can be adjusted to avoid blocking a second outlet.  It’s also very easy to change so when the warmer runs out of oil a new Air Wick Scented Oil refill can be switched out.  I’m thinking that delicate cactus blossoms carried on a warm summer breeze in the Grand Canyon sounds like the perfect choice once American Samoa runs out.

The Air Wick Scented Candle I received was the National Parks Collection Denali fragrance which smells like soft cotton grass and spring air.  The candles are also available in American Samoa.  I placed this candle on our fireplace mantle in the living room where the frosted glass container blended in beautifully with the rest of my décor.

Within minutes of lighting the Air Wick Scented Candle our living room began to fill with the fragrance of Denali National Park and I love that I knew it would last a long long time – up to 25 hours!

The Limited Edition National Park Collection is also available in reed diffusers and Freshmatic spray.  I have loved all of the scents I have tried so far and can’t wait to try the rest.  I highly suggest grabbing a candle or two or perhaps some Air Wick Scented Oils and letting your mind wander to some of our nation’s most beautiful landscapes.  Your nose will thank me!

I’m excited for this new line. They all sound awesome. However, I don’t know if it will help or hurt my case if I’m smelly Taihitian scents all the time…
