Keeping Willow’s Nursery Organized with the KidKraft Wall Storage Unit

When it comes to purchasing furniture for my kids bedrooms and play areas I want pieces that are built to last.  One company that I can always depend on is KidKraft.  From the ease of assembly to the durability of their products I have never been disappointed.  In fact five years ago I purchased KidKraft See Thru Bins to store Alleigh’s toys in and it still looks just like the day I purchased it.  Being used every single day for the past five years and moved all over our home I am very impressed with the quality of KidKraft.  Since I have been so happy with multiple pieces of their furniture I knew that KidKraft was where I needed to look when searching for a storage piece for Willow’s nursery.  When I saw the KidKraft Wall Storage Unit I knew it was perfect.

When the box arrived I immediately put my hubby to workKidKraft Wall Storage Unit, hehe.  We opened the box and I was very happy to see that it was packed very well and all of the wood pieces were labeled and in perfect condition.  The hardware was packaged with each different type in a separate labeled perforated compartment so that they could be opened as needed instead of a huge jumbled mess like in many assembly required products.

With Willow supervising Dustin had the KidKraft Wall Storage Unit put together in no time.  The instructions were very easy to follow and all of the screw and dowel holes lined up perfectly.

This storage unit is over four feet tall measuring 37” wide, 12.5” deep, and 48.8” tall.  It includes eight plastic bins in primary colors – the white version of this storage unit includes pastel colored bins.  I was so excited to find that it fit perfectly between Willow’s window and the corner of her room.  It almost felt like it was built specifically for that space and just looks darling.

I love everything about this storage unit.  The gentle curved edges at the top and bottom fit her squirrel/acorn themed nursery perfectly.  It is made with the same high quality material that I expect in KidKraft furniture.  The different size storage compartments are ideal for holding different items.  At the moment we only have a few books in the top compartment, but for first birthdays we always ask for books instead of birthday cards so her little library will be filled soon enough.  The plastic bins are filled with bibs, shoes, leg warmers, and other odds n’ ends.

And the bottom larger spaces hold diaper bags, extra disposable diapers/wipes, and toys.  When Willow gets older I suppose every single compartment will hold toys, but for now she enjoys being able to reach the toys in the bottom bin all by herself.

I also like that the top of the KidKraft Wall Storage Unit is perfect for displaying things that I want to keep out of Miss Willow’s reach like her footprint art and squirrel figurines.  This storage unit is not only well made and functional, but also adds a bit of elegance to her room.  I have received many compliments on this piece and am always sure to tell people to check out KidKraft for all their childrens furniture needs.

Be sure to check out everything else KidKraft has to offer including toddler beds, table & chair sets, step stools, playhouses, sandboxes, toys, and lots more.  I can’t say enough good things about KidKraft and I know you will love them just as much!

  16. Hi there terrific website! Does running a blog similar to this take a lot of work? I have no knowledge of coding but I had been hoping to start my own blog in the near future. Anyhow, should you have any suggestions or tips for new blog owners please share. I know this is off subject but I just needed to ask. Many thanks!
