Watch Willow Grow: 50 Weeks

It’s Saturday which means it’s time for the Watch Willow Grow update! I enjoyed writing my pregnancy journal and sharing my journey with everyone so much that I have decided to continue by writing about Willow’s first year. And so each week I will be sharing how my baby girl is growing and changing plus lots of pictures!

Sleeping: Willow had been doing really good with sleeping and then we had one really rough night this week where she was up numerous times through the night.  I think she was having a growth spurt though and wonder if she might have been having some growing pains?  She seems back to normal.

Eating: That growth spurt I was talking about… it led to a nursing frenzy!  Willow nursed like a mad woman for two days.  My boobs felt like they were sucked dry and shriveled by the time she was done.  Oh we took Willow to T.G.I.Friday’s for dinner with Dustin and I.  She loved the BBQ ribs!

Diapers:  Willow has been rockin her AppleCheeks during the day and we use disposables at night.  I was excited to get a new diaper bag that is nice and big – perfect for a fluff loving mama like me.

Places She Went:  I am sure you can tell by the pictures, but boy were we busy this week.  We started off the week with a trip to Kelley’s Island and Sawmill Creek Resort with the whole family and my sister.  The next day my sister and I took the girls to Cedar Point.  I took the girls to the Akron Zoo one day and another day I took them to Beech Creek Botanical Gardens & Butterfly House.  And today Willow and I attended The Big Latch On at The Breastfeeding Center then had dinner with Dustin at T.G.I.Friday’s.

Cuteness! I’ve never been to Cedar Point and didn’t realize they had family-friendly rides. I always thing of monster roller coasters when I think of Cedar Point.

  2. Looks like a busy week. I love when her hair is in two little pig tails on top.

Another great week. I hope you enjoyed Beech Creek. It’s in my hometown, we’re there all the time! We actually just had my families 4 generations photos taken there!
