Introducing the Bummis Simply Lite One Size Wrap {Review & Giveaway}

Have you seen the joke about the cloth diaper mommas? It goes something like this: Q. How do you know a mom uses cloth diapers? A: She’ll tell you. I laughed the first time I read it, but then my husband looked at me and said, “Yep, that’s you.” Well I say if the shoe fits, I’m going to wear it. And my new shoe? The brand new Bummis Simply Lite! I was so excited for the chance to review this new diaper cover from the well-known brand Bummis. In our home, we have used other Bummis covers with prefolds, … …..

And so welcome to the second year of Willow’s life… PICTURES FROM WILLOW’S 61st WEEK So I opened my memory card and looked through my Instagram photos and realized I had one picture of … …..

Pumpkin Masters Kits – The Safe Way to Carve!

One of my favorite things about Halloween is pumpkins.  I love taking the kiddos out to the pumpkin patch and letting them each choose the perfect pumpkin.  After wandering around the pumpkin patch this year we ended up with three massive pumpkins that were just begging to be carved. I remember growing up watching my parents carve jack-o-lantern faces into our pumpkins with huge kitchen knives so when I started carving pumpkins for my little ones five years ago I reached for the knives too.  But I must admit that those big knives just aren’t the easiest to work with … …..

Welch’s Invites You to #ShareWhatsGood for a Chance to Win $5K!

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Welch’s. I received product samples to facilitate my review, and a promotional item as a thank you for participating. Have you ever just stopped to take in those little moments?  Ya know, the moments that happen literally every single day and begin to feel boring and kinda stale.  A moment that stands out to me is picking up my five year old from kindergarten each day.  I didn’t realize how much I look forward to it until today – she was home sick with strep throat and so … …..

Brilliant Sky Toys & Books – It’s Not Your Average Toy Store!

Imagine this: It’s been a terribly long week filled with kids’ games, school activities, work, and lots of other activities. Saturday morning finally rolls around and you remember that birthday party that your kiddo is invited to at 1 today… and you have no gift. What do you do? If you’re like me, you stop at the store on the way to the party to get that perfect, hopefully on-sale, whatever-is-left-on-the-shelf, and possibly age-appropriate gift. And when you reach the checkout line, you remember to go back and grab the giftwrap and a card. And should you be so lucky, … …..

The Britax Boulevard 70-G3 has Safety You Can See {Review & Giveaway}

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Britax. The opinions and text are 100% mine. No one hops into their car thinking “today is the day I’m going to get in a car accident” but the fact of the matter is crashes happen every single day. That is why it is so important that we make sure our smallest passengers are as safe as they can possibly be by making sure they are properly buckled into a car seat with top of the line safety features. Unfortunately not all car seats are created equal when it … …..

The Best-Ever Bib from Bummis Review & Giveaway

When it came time to introduce Willow to solids we decided to take the baby led weaning approach.  If you’re not familiar with baby led weaning it is where instead of starting with cereals or purees you simply give your child whole pieces of food and allow them to feed themselves.  The thought process behind this is that the child will learn how to chew their food before they learn how to swallow it.  This also means that when learning how to chew their food it gets spit out a lot and there are lots of messes.  Willow needed a … …..
