HarperHousehold5.jpgI’m pretty excited today to talk about a really awesome product that would make the perfect Christmas gift for that someone that you’ve been looking for- Origami Owl and Independent Designer Libbi Duncan!

First, a little from Libbi about herself… “My name is Libbi Duncan. I am a stay-at-home mom to 5 wonderful kiddos. Connor (11), Madelyn (9), Noelle (7), Amelia (5), and Isla (3). My husband Kevin and I have been married for 13 years. I started selling Origami Owl in February of 2013, after I saw a friend on Facebook who was hosting a jewelry bar. I fell in love with the Living Lockets and knew I wanted to be a part of this awesome company. It has been a fun journey and I love helping people create a piece of jewelry that has meaning to them or as a gift for a loved one.”

I was able to work one-on-one with Libbi to create a Living Locket- a custom piece of jewelry that told a story. I worked to create my piece by selecting items from each of the 5 Living Locket steps – charms, locket, chain, plate, and dangles. I was so blown away when I got the completed piece. It was absolutely beautiful and the incredible quality of the jewelry took me by surprise…and I’ll admit I was just as giddy about how cute the packaging was!

My locket tells about my greatest blessing- my family.

I purposefully selected each and every piece to tell my family’s story.

Beautiful pieces like mine can be created through Origami Owl by contacting a local Independent Designer just like Libbi. You then get to have a fun home or internet party called a Jewelry Bar, where you get to select and put together your creation. Since a very strong magnet closes each locket, you can open it to try different charms inside the locket, and even purchase different charms for different looks within the same locket.

Libbi has graciously offered to provide a giveaway for a $25 gift certificate that can be used exclusively with her to help you create your own Living Locket and tell your story. She can also set you up with a Jewelry Bar of your own where you can not only create beautiful jewelry, but reap Hostess Benefits as well! Make sure to “like” Libbi’s Facebook page to keep up on all Origami Owl updates.

To create a story of your own, or to order that perfect specialized gift just in time for Christmas, visit Libbi’s Origami Owl page and order from the online Jewelry Bar. Make sure to order from party #18849 so all of our orders come together from the Christmas Gift Guide.

Also, just released from Origami Owl, starting Friday, November 8th at midnight, Living Locket Bracelets will be available for purchase. If you would like to create one, just wait to order until Friday morning!
