About a month ago I shared how excited I was to be chosen to be a Brother P-touch Ambassador.  Ever since then I have had so much fun labeling practically everything in our home.  Perhaps I’ve gone a little label crazy.  I even had to stop by OfficeMax to get some more tape – there were so many choices!

So far my biggest project was organizing Alleigh and Kaelyn’s walk-in closet which is really a small bedroom turned into a closet.  I took out everything that was either too small or the wrong season and placed them in plastic storage bins then used my handy dandy Brother P-touch PT-H100 Easy Handheld Label Maker to label them accordingly.  I also made sure to put a label on both ends of the bin so it didn’t matter which way Dustin put them in the storage space.  It is so refreshing to only have the items that are the appropriate season and correct size in their closet now so it’s easy for Dustin to pick clothes out for the girls too.  Plus now when Kaelyn and Willow grow into those sizes it will be so easy to just grab the correct bin and have a whole new wardrobe for them.

The girls have also developed a love for my labeling and request labels with their names on them all the time.  And so instead of having to type in their name each time they ask I simply saved them in the easy-access memory which can store up to 9 “favorite” labels.  Now when they request a label I can print it out super quick and they can stick it on whatever they need to declare as theirs and only theirs.  This is actually also very helpful for me as they love to have the same things all the time but then fight over who it actually belongs to.  It’s also wonderful with things like cups to help stop the spread of germs.  Alleigh is just getting over the nasty stomach flu and so far it hasn’t spread any further and I really hope it remains that way – fingers crossed.  Plus I love that I don’t have to worry about the labels falling off because they are designed to stay on in extreme temperatures like the dishwasher or freezer and since they are laminated spills wipe off easily.

If you have been contemplating purchasing a Brother label maker there is no better time than right now.  And that is because Brother P-touch is celebrating their 25th anniversary so keep your eye out for special deals and promotions at office super stores and retail partners.  If you have someone on your Christmas shopping list that loves labels just as much as I do then you might want to consider getting them a Brother P-touch PT-H100 Easy Handheld Label Maker or it could be a Christmas gift for yourself, hehe.  Right now you can score one on Amazon for only $17.99 and it’s prime eligible which means it will get there in time for the big day if you order soon!  I promise you will love it, but no blaming me if you go label crazy!

  1. I seriously re-read the sentence where you said I could get it on Amazon right now for $17.99. That is amazing!!
I LOVE that it is meant to stand up to extreme temps; would be nice not to have to worry about it coming off in the freezer or dishwasher (or our storage boxes in our attic during our crazy hot Arizona summers)!!
