Oh my goodness!  I can’t even begin to explain how busy December has been thus far for our family and the next few days are simply going to be a whirlwind of festivities.  I feel like my mind has been going a million different directions and by the time I make it through the day the last thing I want to think about is what I’m making for dinner.  And ok, I’ll admit it… I don’t really enjoy cooking, but I do love a delicious meal.  My favorite meal around the holidays has always been ham and I must say that the best ham I’ve ever eaten came from HoneyBaked Ham.

For the longest time I thought HoneyBaked Ham was simply a place to go buy a huge ham for a large holiday gathering, but I couldn’t have been more wrong.  It is true that they have huge hams, but also small hams and everything in between.  In fact their hams range in size from a 1.75 boneless ham to a 14 pound bone in ham which can feed 26 people!  No matter what size you choose each ham is coated in the delicious HoneyBaked signature sweet and crunchy glaze – so yummy.  Plus they are also fully cooked and spiral sliced making serving a cinch.  Simply heat up what you need in either the oven or microwave and your ready to go.

But don’t let the name deceive you because HoneyBaked Ham also has a wide range of sides and desserts to choose from as well.  Side dishes include potatoes au gratin, sweet potato souffle, broccoli rice casserole, green bean casserole, macaroni & cheese, cinnamon apples, and mashed potatoes.  On our last visit to our local HoneyBaked Ham store Willow gladly chowed down on a sample of the cinnamon apples – she loved them!  I ended up choosing the green beans, macaroni & cheese, and mashed potatoes as our sides for the evening, but I think I will definitely have to grab those cinnamon apples for our next meal.  The sides are frozen, but are very easy to prepare as well by placing in the oven for about 40 minutes.  Leftovers can be refrigerated and reheated.

There are also yummy desserts to finish off your meal including cinnamon coffee cake and a cheesecake sampler that features three slices each of four tantalizing flavors-Triple Chocolate, Turtle, Raspberry, and Creamy.

All of my girls loved everything we tried from HoneyBaked Ham, but their favorite definitely was the ham.  I’ve never seen them devour any meat that fast in their lives!  Not to mention going back for seconds.  It definitely was a hit.

So just remember no matter the size of your gathering or even for a simple family meal after a crazy busy day HoneyBaked Ham is the answer not only during the holidays, but any day!  Why not start a HoneyBaked tradition this year? Instead of spending most of the holiday in the kitchen mom can enjoy spending time with the family and HoneyBaked Ham can do all the work.  Your family is sure to love it.  But you don’t have to take my word for it…. kiddos are always the best critics so check out what Alleigh, Kaelyn, and Willow had to say….
